He could have a broken rib or damage to his liver from that shot.
Broken ribs only take a month or so to heal. He wouldn't even be wrestling until April. Or if he does say the Rumble and wins, he wouldn't have to take any bumps. Just come in at #30 and throw some guys out.
In a recent interview he said who would turn down a large sum of money when asked if he'd go to WWE for at least one more match.
As soon as he announced his retirement from UFC, I immediately thought a possible WWE return, maybe as soon as in time for WM28 (likely not since he probably wants to rest at home first) but I think a WWE return is more possible than it's ever been in the past few years. If he does return sometime soon, I can see it being at either WM29 or WM30 (which will surely take place at the Garden) and in a match with The Undertaker.

This is the last Wrestlemania Undertaker's body is going to be in working condition. At least that's the way I see it.
At the UFC 141 post-fight press conference Dana White was asked about Brock Lesnar's retirement from MMA following his loss to Alistair Overem.
The UFC's President response was simple: "When he retires, he retires under contract," White said.
What White most likely means is that Brock may or may not actually retire, but if he does, he still has a UFC contract to honor, therefore would be unable to compete in any athletic event outside the UFC, and more in particular the WWE. It has been rumored that Vince MacMahon would love to have Lesnar back and even tried to negotiate an appearance at this past Wrestlemania.
Who knows when the contract expires but if Dana is flexing his muscle to keep Brock from the WWE he is just ridiculous.
I'm not 100% but I assume his contract will only expire when he finishes however many fights are left on it, unlike team sports contracts which are based on a yearly basis.
And would you expect any less? This is Dana's thing.
