After reading the first quote I thought for sure the second quote would end differently.

I meant it in the sense that all the fast and furious wannabe drivers suddenly come out of every orifice.

Yeah. Totally blows. The first Sharks game I ever went to was MLK Day 1994. That's what I should be doing today.

Good god. My neighbor just remarked this morning how cold it was, and it's 37F right now.

Coincidentally... -40F = -40C

its also the point where you'll break most cars if you try to go far in them, especially if you don't know what your doing.

Jeez it was 10 out this morning (and snow finally!) and I was forced to put a jacket on! If it was -40, I would have called in to work!

-3 C only here. I wouldn't mind having -40, but my car- well my dads car (I own like 30-40% of it) is a diesel (yes, the fuel of satan. mock all you want. ) so the diesel freezes when it gets too cold if you don't get "arctic diesel" or something.

Whatever happened to global warming?

Anyone else a huge fan of Batman '89? I watched that VHS countless times as a kid. Well, 20+ years later and I'm still buying toys from the movie.

These aren't my pics; I just took a few from here. http://www.sideshowcollectors.com/fo...d.php?t=105094

Am I the biggest nerd around here now?

well its not just the fuel ya know. At -40 and lower things just don't work. You gotta get the car plugged in to turn on its internal heater (or better yet have it in a heated garage). But even then, you gotta remember newer cars have a LOT of crap shoved into em, some of it being fragile or cheap. Drive a new car at this temp up here? Your liable to blow hoses. (pick a hose, any hose. Lately its been power searing hoses).

Course, you gotta remember when your driving, ambient temperature isn't the only thing you gotta factor in. WIND CHILL Is a *****. Drive 30mph and you gotta factor in that wind chill plus existing wind.

-40 is not liveable habitat for human beings. You should have known better than to live there

Speaking of which, I recently found this while going through a container of computer parts. Can you identify it? I'm fairly certain it's from a Transformer but it could be from a G.I. Joe.

Doesn't look like a GI-Joe, I think the handle is too short to fit into their hands. It looks like a transformer gun yah...

It looks like a gun Optimus would have used around G1, i'm looking for a pic.

edit: It's a dinobot rifle. Snarle it looks like:

This is Optimus' gun. I remember the shape distinctly (but I remember it being blue):

My friend gave me his Optimus when we were little after he lost the hands and (not sure how) the trailer. I think he's in my dad's attic at the moment.

Nice find! Wow, he was my first Transformer. My dad went to several stores that Christmas to find any Transformer and Snarl was the only one he could get his hands on. My cousin eventually snapped his tail off and I still haven't forgiven her.

There were several optimus guns, that was close to one of them.

But as I said, it's Snarle:
