Some companies are actually looking at grades of recent graduates more closely now, not just whether they graduated or not.

Good for you sir.

I thought the season 3 ending was great. And Raffi is my favorite character on teh show. Never found him annoying.

This semester was also supposed to be a GPA booster for me and I was planning on getting all A's ... but I didn't do **** all semester and only got one A.

As a person who loves history, this makes me rage. Ebay should NOT be requiring the destruction of historical items just because the buyer "thinks" its fake. It should be returned like any other product, or be verified by a certified appraiser.

Now because of some ignorance, the world is short one vintage pre-WWII Violin.

There's an article from CBS News that says:

Quote:
To be fair, the payment company's (PayPal) terms and conditions state that "PayPal may also require you to destroy the item and to provide evidence of its destruction."

This is just unbelievable. How has PayPal not been sued over crap like this? Based on both articles there's no mention of PayPal verifying whether or not this was a fake. I'm actually more pissed at the dumbass buyer than PayPal quite honestly. What a ****ing ****-tard.

Yeah, I can't believe it explicitly states that the item must be destroyed? Are we in Nazi Germany?

I'd say we're heading more towards "Communist" China (NDAA & SOPA), until they start detaining every brown person in Gitmo or put up electric fences to keep Mexican immigrants out...we've got a ways to go until we reach Nazi Germany.

Someone else made this, and it pisses me off that I actually had to stop and think about this

Not only that, but the guide is faster and more responsive as well.

Ah, that too! I used to fury-tap the buttons till it responded and then I'd end up like 5 screens from where I wanted to be

Headed out to the living room late last night for my Honey Bunches of Oats + Phineas and Ferb watching. I was nearly done with my cereal by the time the guide finished updating.

I kept delaying it all the way till 4am. I wasn't about to wait for an update, let alone the reboot. I'm just glad they gave a warning and an option to delay.

It really is, I got it during the beta. It's much more soothing on the eyes, especially while watching it at night/during a dark show.

Apparently a current DC Comics artist was commissioned a few years ago to do concept art for a retro-Japanese styled Justice League:

It's easy to see some of the influences here (Flash -> Racer X/Speed Racer, Aquaman -> Ultraman) but still interesting.

Crazy, or crazy awesome?

Regardless, "Science Ninja Hero Batman" is spectacular.

Apparently, I also got the new DirecTV guide during beta or whatever too. It's good, it's pretty, but I'm a bit annoyed at the extra button presses to reach my beloved Manage Recordings menu.

Yeah, the color scheme and speed are nice. But everything else kinda' sucks. Who needs a picture menu?

And why are none of the Sharks games showing up on 698 anymore? I have to select it from some listing that i know doesn't work and hope the receiver auto-tunes to the correct channel. Nothing like coming home during the third period with your fingers crossed.

Wow. You guys weren't kidding. Five Guys Burgers blow the **** out of In-N-Out burgers. Their Cajun Fries are also pretty good. Went out to Fremont with friends.

Anyway, after we had some Sushi from Sendai Sushi at 8, we crashed at one of our friends' house for a while. One of us made a fake AIM account to impersonate a girl from high school and we were using to troll one of our dick classmates from that very same high school. We pretended to ask him out to play badminton.

He took it hook, line, and sinker.

While that was going on, we were busy photoshopping his face to porn. To end the evening, we sent the plethora of pictures to him. It was ****ing hilarious.

I thought I had an asthma attack from laughing that hard.
