Ovechkin has been playing better for the past ~10 games or so I dont know why some of you think its only been the last two games.

yeah, you have to think if it were a lesser player, like Halpern, or a kid, like Orlov or MoJo, there would be a team-wide understanding that, 'We're gonna try to get this guy his third.' but in the last 2 games, DH certainly hasn't gone out of his way to give Ovie the chance at ENG.

at current rate of 2 goals per game, Ovie will have 106 goals by end of season.

Yes, biggest problem is the 2nd line is still weak, and Shultz still sucks.

It looks like Schultz will only get spot duty. He was in simply due to the 3 in 4. He's making way too much money for a #7 guy.

Caps looked fine. Not a great 2nd period, but countered with a great 3rd. First period was a toss up.

Happy anytime you can win on the road.

Caps are on a good roll. If they keep playing this way, they will win the division, and probably beat our the Atl Division winner. I think Boston will get the #1 seed though.

Man Orlov...he's here to stay. It is pretty much obvious for any that have been watching his games at the NHL level. As I believe Langway said he won't being seeing AHL any time soon.

Great to see AO heating up and getting his confidence back.
