Season stats point towards that, as do the records which indicate the two teams are pretty close.

I don't think so, the Jets have looked great lately and the Leafs are terrible lately. Their top line, defence and goalie have been 'meh' lately. So we'll see. Maybe they'll come out to play for this one.

Being a transplanted Winnipegger in Toronto, I get a chance to see the Leafs fairly often. They're much improved this year, and have a good amount of talent. What they seem to lack occasionally is the intensity that the Jets show almost game in and game out, win or lose.

I was at he ACC for the Jets / Leafs game earlier in the year - what a disappointment that was - the Jets outplayed them for the majority of the game, and the Leafs used their talent to turn it into a W for them. What has changed since that game - the Jets players seem to have fully bought into the systems that Noel and his crew are espousing, they play far more disciplined hockey, and there's a confidence that was lacking back then.

If the Leafs and Jets bring their A game tonight, it's going to be an awesome game to watch!

That said, Go Go! Crush my current hometown team, please.

Im assuming Lombardi is going to be activated from the IR as Bozak was just placed on it. He'll probably step in to the top line, but the other lines may be reshuffled with someone else playing centre for Lupul-Kessel. Our 2nd and 3rd lines are interchangeable, both with about the same talent on them.
