You know, I don't even care anymore. Let these guys do what's best for their careers. It's naive to think that patriotism or even loyalty is at the root of their decision-making process anyway.

I like what I have been seeing out of Logan Nelson - C - Victoria WHL.... kid is looking excellent so far. He is pretty strong on his skates, creates a ton of offense, and looks like a player bigtime. As a 93, he could and should get a serious look for this squad as well.

definitely a riser for this camp next year.

team could be extremely gifted as usual, plenty of big bodies to sprinkle around, with some highend talent at all positions. nice CHL balance as well. I am sure my team will look nothing like the actual team, but hey if it helps me sleep at night right??

I did this list fast, so I am sure there are some players I forgot, just want to put this year past me already and look forward to a more balanced team overall! Listed 8 dmen and 14 forwards obviously one too many at each spot, but couldnt decide who I wanted out for each spot.

after 2 months of actual play, I still think this roster holds up fairly well.

Samuelsson has come back from the brink and is a hot name again. should make this squad as well.

the only moves I would really make so far is Brady Skjei over Brian Cooper

and

John Gaudreau over Shane McColgan.... I love the energy Shane brings, but that highend level of play just doesnt seem to be there.

Also wild card: Adam Erne. this kid is looking legit and could shake things up as a 95 on this squad.

still very solid group of players, and after 2 more months since I posted this, not a lot has changed imo.
