Sabres @ Capitals - 12/30/2011, 7:00 PM.

Straight from the horse's mouth at SabreCapital.com:

Today, the Sabres have the opportunity to serve us with a win... but will they be responsible enough to deliver? You tell me.

Buffalo go.

Caps won't lay down in DC like they have twice in Buffalo. Another loss. More panic. Followed by an Enroth win tomorrow night. Followed by a re-emergence of the GCT. Caps, 4-2.

Hecht
Roy

Backstrom
Laich
Ovenchicken
Brouwer (EN)

Still thinking about going to this one, but not sure yet.

I still have hope, albeit fading hope, that 2011 could be The Year.

Sabres continue to try to get their coach fired, lose 8-1, Terry tells Jessie that fracking fluids could do a better job of coaching this team, Jessie butt-Tweets it, Lindy is read the Tweet by Rip, Lindy quits in a huff.

Please. One time baby, one time.

I hate playing in Washington.

Will make sure I leave it on mute because of

- that guy with the ****ing horn that will play 30 times a game
- and that stupid goal siren

We lose. Again.

At least Sabres fans knew their team existed before 2005.

Seriously?

I expect the Caps to be at least a bit more interested tonight. Close, possibly a lose, and probably boring.

Amusingly, we seem to get more people when we're sucking. Lots of people suddenly get 20/20 hindsight vision and a loud voice when the team is playing badly.

I live in Nebraska and get the Center Ice with DishNetwork so they rarely show the Sabres feed. I use the WGR online radio, the mute button and my DVR to listen to Rick call the game. It's a little tricky and hard to line up all the time but it's worth not have to listen to the other announcers especially when they play the Bruins. Jack Edwards is the WORST along with that Boston guy who sings the National Anthem off key constantly.

This implies Ruff would start Enroth and not ride Miller to the ground.

A loss and the Sabres will be seriously flirting with last place in the North East.

Excuse time is over.

Fully expect Ruff to leave this team in shambles when he is fired. Miller will start the next 10.
