I'm not trying to do this intentionally. Last time I got confused on rulings, and then Mr Bugg comes out of nowhere this morning to offer me a rather tempting offer when I didn't even see he was OTC

Edit: As far as Mr Bugg's provocations, I just wish he'd give his logic/defense more as opposed to leaving me to talk to the trade committe :/

Good point. I might be convinced to let the second one go if the first trade wasn't so obviously a troll offer.

Second vote to veto

And now comes the punishment of bending to the impatience

...Do I try to work it out or leave Mr Bugg with the egg on his face?

I think I'll be willing to work it out Mr Bugg- if you are willing to explain and make a public statement. I'm tired of trying to work alone out here.

This.

There is no other way to explain a completely lop-sided trade like this.

I don't mind that at all, but I'm bias.

So the lesson from the last instance this happened was hurry up and make the pick without full approval...but the lesson I get from this is be more patient and wait?

Not that I'm blaming anyone, but I'm struggling

Lopsided?

Let's take a look at trades the committee has already approved.

To Toronto St. Pats - #51, #78
To L'équipe Nationale de France - #57 #72

-6, +6. ie even trade.

To Hamilton: 88, 100, 152, 228
To Halifax: 76, 133, 140, 261

-12, +33, +12, -33. Even trade.

To Hamilton Mustangs: 89, 215, 264, 392, #441
To Toronto St. Pats: 124, 152, 252, 380, #453

-35, +63, -12, -12, -12. Almost even trade.

If the Trade Committee is suddenly going to change the rules because it's me trading, well, I needn't throw anything back in its face- it's done that already, and rather publicly.

Bugg, it's a question of the order of the pluses and minuses, now isn't it? You are not this dumb.

I'll be the first to admit I overpaid to get Howe but the current disputed trade isn't even comparable to mine...

Not that I want to oppose this going through, and am glad you come to defend here however:

-Things change with small numbers of picks involved.

-Math is off on that second one. It's -35, +63, +12, +12, -12. Return ratio is around 2:1.

And the 6 picks going each way was such a minor trade nobody cared.

But perhaps we should not be so quick to question Mr Bugg's character. On our last deal, I offered him it, not the other way around.

He was also in a desperate situation, I presume, and dealing with someone with appealing picks (myself) who didn't really have interest in trading up.

But considering the question of Mr Bugg's character/intention is what supposedly kept re-negotiated deal, which I think though lopsided is not necessariyl veto-worthy, from going through...

And this is why I deleted your drafting attempt. We had no idea if you'd still want to do the trade if you actually had to give to get.

Once this is worked out, we can move on and I can undelete it.

If you dont work something out, that guy was an undrafted

This thread has reached defcon 1. All we need now is one of VanI's socks to threaten to quit the draft if the trade doesn't go through.

At this point there isn't a great deal private about what we're doing. If it helps to negotiate publicly to appease some of the more paranoid minds, I suppose we have to do that. I certainly don't want to become the Dr. Evil of the ATD.

If you can manage to mount lasers to the heads of your Red Army soldiers, you'll have my vote, Bugg.

Mr Bugg's latest proposal:

#122, #200

For

#152, #153

I'm alright with this.

Edit: And I'd still like the ability to re-make the pick from the player I chose before with the new circumstances, if I may.

If this goes through, which I think it will, Reen has a real generous offer for pick #122 for you LF
