Was that Fetisov trade a joke? Probably the last straw for me, i'm voting no trading next year. Both parties are to blame for even proposing such a laughable trade.
Mark, don't allow yourself to be trolled by Bugg. Trading is an integral part of the ATD; it is virtually impossible to get the team you really want without it. The trade committee does its job. What does it matter to you if people annoy us with this nonsense? No imbalanced trades have actually gone through.

I find this hard to believe.
Sure, this is only my second go-round with these things, but have the winning teams really benefited on a consistent basis solely through trading?
Has there ever been a trade-free ATD? If so, we should do a roster comparison. To me, it seems all these trades do is muck up the draft board and raise blood pressure amongst those of who you care enough to immerse yourself in all this nonsensical wheeling and dealing.
If you're telekinetic and you know it, clap my hands!
Mr Bugg and I I've been discussing a deal he initiated since round 5, and I have refused at least half a dozen similar proposal he gave me. Perhaps I'm underrating Fetisov, perhaps I'm overrating Vasiliev, perhaps that the fact that having Fetisov instead of Vasiliev (who's the perfect #1 defenceman for Dominik Hasek) change the way I have to build my defensive core. Although Fetisov is no question ask the better player of the two by a fair margin, I need to move Moose Vasko up to play first pairing with Fetisov, and I'm not really in love with the idea. I have no players selected on my second line yet, which I will have to build with 270, 307, 334 (IF I take three forwards in a row) which will end up being one of the worst 2nd line of the draft.
I won't be lying, if I accepted that deal, is that I thought I could still manage something good, and at the end I think I could build a better team, but people have to at least understand my point of view, and that this proposal would of been a great steal for me if it had been made in round 1, but in round 8 it screw up the planning I had made of my team. All in all, I honestly see it as a small gain for me, and not the huge 'deal of the century', people are complaining about.
Why is Mr Bugg wanted to do it on his side? You ask him.
