Who Cares? I'm gonna be at so many OHL games, I won't even miss it.

Still hoping..... last year ended a little too soon. The team grew stronger as the season went on (and everyone returned from various and assorted injuries) - I'd love to see the Flyers pick up where they left off.

Thank God for the OHL!

It's only September 27. It will start to hurt come November and be absolutely depressing in the winter when you realize there will be no season.

I love OHL hockey (Eastern Conference Champion Mississauga Ice Dogs) so it won't hurt as much. I'll actually be saving money if there's no season, since I won't be buying seats for both sets of Philly/Toronto games here in TO and one game in Philly. That's a pretty fair chunk of change I have to kick around if there's no season. Still hurts that there likely won't be Flyers hockey this year though.

I'm still hoping, as a fan, all I can do is pray that everything goes well and NHL hockey is played again.

I live near a AHL team and I see about all of their home games and a lot of their away games in the area so I'll see hockey, but not NHL hockey. Wont be the same without a game to watch on the nights the Falcons don't play or after I get home from a Falcons game. Its going to suck now matter how many AHL games I see this season. Not being able to see some of the new Flyers is going to suck to. Atleast if I get to see the Falcons play the Phantoms I'll get to see Pitkanen.

seconded. it's really frustrating watching these guys squabble while the ones that really get penalized are the fans. Anybody know where I can get a good "Fire Gary Bettman" shirt?

ironically, some buddies and i were talking about pond hockey today, so i voted for the pond hockey one.

how about "death to the NHLPA only"? i would have voted for that one hands down.

If I didn't have OHL hockey I don't know what I'd do. I'll be going to a lot of games this season. I might also take a road trip to Hamilton to catch a couple AHL games. I still miss my NHL though.

If I was a Spitfire fan I wouldn't be too excited about the upcoming junior season.

j/k of course.

I really haven't even noticed that we should be thick into pre-season camp by now.

I'm not offended, it's a rebuilding year, it could be very long. I started the season with very little hope, but after seeing a couple preseason games and the home opener I'm a little more optomistic. Spits may be winless so far but they already have 2 pts! If nothing else I can at least watch the Flyers prospects when they come to town. Probably the closest we'll get this season.

They came to Owen Sound and looked really bad. Downie shows promise though.

I was permanently turned off by baseball's 1994 cancellation of the World Series. I never returned except maybe to watch a World Series game here and there. I am too passionate for hockey for that to happen but the powers that be need a serious dose of reality in this standoff.

maybe after the owners and players watch how boring baseball is they'll get back to the bargaining table.

They're my only hope for hockey this season, now that my AHL road trip plans are no more. Please don't ruin it with silly things like realism. I'm going to be an optomist this season. I'm looking forward to seeing what Downie can do this season, I have high hopes for Garlock too.

Every day when I log onto this board, I hope/pray to see endless threads "Agreement Reached, Hockey's BACK!" and every day I'm disappointed.

Come back soon
