Best Euros in the WHL-Slovaks, Czechs, Russians etc

Hello Everyone, and a Happy New Year to everyone here.

Being based in the UK I am always intigued as to the progress of Euro prospects, and was wondering whom you would rate as the top Euros in the WHL.

Would I be correct in rating the Giants Marek Tvrdon, with his mix of size, speed and skill--as well as his numbers, as one of the best?

What about Marek Kalus of the Chiefs...he seems to be putting a decent streak together of late: but what about his style of play?

I also gather that the Pats youngster, Domiik Volek has great potntial too?
What about the Hitmens Alex Googelev>? Does he look a thouroughbread?

Would love to hear some scouting reports by the fans on the "styles of these players"

Best Wishes
Jd

Martin Gernat on the Oil Kings is probably the best Slovak player in the dub.

Oh yeah he really picks up the points. Actually on second thought the best slovak player is probably Marincin on PG, but both are Oilers prospects so its all good

Hiya... I had no idea that Bozon had put up such gaudy numbers, very impressive, and then I see the youngster in Brandon, Bertaggia, another great Swiss prospect.!

Marincin has just been traded today I see..

Alessio Bertaggia of the Wheat Kings is a great player. Fast, agile great balance and smart. If he comes back a little stronger next year he's going to really light it up.

Now that the season is half over and I have seen them play for a while

Hitmen
Rask (Sweden) - very gifted offensively, however, a little lazy on the back check. He is one of the only Hitmen with a minus rating.

Gogolev (Russia)-another very gifted offensive player. Has his spurts for a few games where he is unstoppable and then seems to disappear for a few games where you don't even notice him.

Both players could be 40+ goal scorers, but they need to pick up their work ethic a bit to accomplish that.

However, when they are firing on all cylinders they are amazing to watch.

Lukas Kralik has been nothing but a disappointment for the Royals.
