LGD. Put that bread and butter all over the toast.

I have a good feeling about this one.

That I must say may be the 2nd riskiest trolling of sports history behind the Lebron jersey in Cleveland. Not only will there be over 40,000 instead of the regular 20,000, but this is Philadelphia. And not only that, but with the remaining fans that are coming that will cheer for the opposing team, they will hate you even more. Good luck.

The players might be more sluggish today, because many of them will watch the Winter Classic instead of taking their usual pre-game nap.

I'm not to the point where I can confidently expect wins against teams below us in the standings, or anyone for that matter.

Either way, get 2 points

The classic doesn't start till 3, I think by that point most guys will have gotten some kind of nap in. Given when they usually leave to arrive at the rink I don't think it'll cut into any pre-game routines that much.

I'm not so sure about that. You hear people catch a lot of highlights of games, but never too much about them watching other games...

Besides, the bus probably leaves the hotel in the middle of it anyways.

With today's parity, any team can beat any other in any given game, and it's almost impossible to dominate the run of play for an entire game unless the other team just doesn't show up.

The Senators aren't that good, but we can't pencil in a win anyway.

I guess, I'd call it more parity between the bottom of the league. A Boston team shouldn't have too many fears playing lower squads. We still lay stinkers like the carolina game. Although Boston is the best in the conference and we are a bubble team for the playoffs.

That said, take 2 and run back to Newark.

Aside possibly from Glendale (where I have not been) the Senators might have the worst located arena in the league. I've driven past it and it is in the boondocks. Way out on the cornfield fringe of Ottawa exurbia.

Weekes? Kevin Weekes?

I thought Kev is doing the Winter Classic? I just saw him on NHL Network.

2012 devils wish list vs Ottawa
1) a solid win
2) no let downs in the 3rd period
3) Marty continues to look stellar in net
4) tedenby-zajac-clarskson line puts up 5 points

I would love to see the Devils continue their current hot streak and mop the ice with Ottawa.

Love playing the Sens, to be honest.

We ruined their best chance at a Stanley Cup in '03. They really are pretty loud up there for these games.
