So, who's everyone rooting for?

I really can't decide... Might actually have to pull for the Rangers cause I'm in NYC

what a crock. no offense to anyone, but too large a percentage of the canadians i've talked to are hypocritical douches. they give the rest a bad name.
It's a bigger event than usual. I really don't have a problem with them doing it.

Mad?

No, just inquisitive.

Really don't think too many would care. Especially if it meant missing whoever that was try to ruin the song.

Generalizations are always wrong.

Give me a break with the Canada bashing.

Hey Olczyk, the water can't bond any more than it already is. You can let the intermolecular forces set, though. (They happen to be called 'hydrogen bonds' but that's just a case of chemists being confusing.)

Now you all learned something!

I've never watched the Winter Classic before. This is my first time. I did see the Rangers/Kings game in 91 live though outdoors in Las Vegas. I don't know. I actually dislike the Rangers less than Flyers.

I'm like Saugus, just wanting a good showing of the sport in the national spotlight... and for the Flyers to win

Psst: the ice isn't pure H2O.

On a less science-y note, "new" ice needs time to set and level after it freezes, is flooded, re-frozen, etc. It's a common practice for most ice rinks to not skate on the ice for 2-3 days and then tear it up a LOT to 'set' the ice.

I don't see a puck getting by that wall of padding called Lundqvist.

Why would it offend ANYONE? Canada is a great country and a great allie. Hockey is their national sport. Big ****ing deal. Not directed at you but why play the Ugly American stereotype?

Do people ALWAYS need something to get uptight about? Geez!

it's not that i have a problem with them singing it, just feel like it should either be every game or only ones with canadian teams. then again i generally don't get singing the anthems in general but that's another story. anyway, hockey.

go flyers.

I keep seeing the part of the "W" in the Winter Classic on the ice as a broken stick.

So do I. I always sang along with the band playing it before hockey games at Lynah. Sometimes in French.

He's been very good so far. I think they need to get more scoring chances on him.

You have to wonder if the ratings will drop if they don't get a score soon. Been a little boring for the casual fan, I feel.

Dear NBC,

Please dial down the saturation boost from 10x to at least a 5. You're burning up the plasma in my tv. When the yellow kick boards glow like a light Sabre and the orange filthy jerseys are a giant orange blob like a Kenny Rogers Roaster sign it's time to tone it down.
