some of our speedy, skilled players should be able to have a hayday against that TB defense tonight. Hopefully Kessel, Kadri, Lupul, or Grabo come to play tonight.

Kessel and Lupul have come to play every night this season. It's been fun, if only we had the Grabo line going too this team would score 4 goals a game.

I've been away, any update on Kessel? Thought I saw him hobbling Saturday but wasn't watching too closely.

It's taking people a long time to understand the switch from Top 6 to Top 9, and that the "2nd" and "3rd" lines are essentially the same thing. They tend to get similar minutes with the edge to whichever line is having a better night.

Crabb has played his way into more icetime. The opposite can be said for Frattin. I don't see your point.

As many as the amount of Penalties Toronto takes...

I either see him with 1 or 2 or get shut out if that practice yesterday did anything to help the PK out.

Exactly. People get too hung up on 1st 2nd or 3rd lines. The difference in icetime between the 2nd and 3rd lines is usually the powerplay and penalty kill or like you said, whoever is better on a given night. Nothing wrong with a 2a and 2b anyways.

And?.....

Ofcourse others have been slacking. That's painfully obvious.

Would you rather have Wilson giving players icetime that they don't deserve?

These type of changes are never permanent. I expect Crabb to be back to the 4th line after a couple of games.

But who knows, Crabb is a hard worker, and I think he can play well with Kulemin and Grabovski

I really don't understand what Wilson and Co. are doing lately.... (or ever?). They continue to lose games, but will never change the lineup. This team has no physical aspect to their forecheck (or overall game in general), yet continue to sit Rosehill who can skate and hit hard, and not take bad penalties. The PK is terrible, and Gardiner seems to be on the PK for way too many goals against, but Wilson keeps putting him out there. Wow - the kid is a great skater, but beyond that....? Send him to the Marlies and let him dominate there before his career is ruined.

They say there is no "entitlement"???? Yet, you just know that Kadri will be on his way to the "A", even though he has been their best offensive forward since his latest recall. Same goes on "D"..... you watch as soon as Komisarek is ready to go - think they would send Gardiner down - nope. Franson to the press box!!!! It really seems that Wilson has something personal against both these guys.

As for tonight - I don't what to expect. Wouldn't surprise to see the same old things we've seen lately - heck they have the same lineup AGAIN!!!!!! This is a perfect situation where you should make some lineup changes (not just mix up the lines).

If they can get on the forecheck it is there for the taking, but please stay out of the box! If the PK doesn't improve - Stamkos will have a fun night as usual.

Don't forget Wilson continually going with Reimer despite his (and the team's) struggles. Monster was playing well, winning 5 of 6, and coming off a solid game against NYR when Reimer came back. It would be nice to see an "earn your start" system happening.

Anyway, let's take this one tonight. Go Leafs Go!

Crabb might even be gone when Brown returns.
