There's a tournament going on, I'm not sure about the details, but atleast 3 of the major European leagues (Elite League in Sweden, SM Liiga in Finland, and the Russian Super League) are down until atleast the 16th. The Swedish league comes back on the 18th, and the Russian is back on the 17th.

I haven't checked the Slovakian and Czech leagues, but I'm sure they're the same.

EDIT: Just checked the other two leagues and they're both down until the 16th.

Couple of minor updates....

- Cam Keith has 6 points in 4 games for Pensacola. That puts him tied for 11th (with a bunch of other guys) in league scoring and most of the guys ahead of him have played more games. I wouldn't be surprised to see Keith get a call up to St. John's if he keeps playing like this because they could definitely use his size.

- Jan Steber had a goal and an assist for Halifax last night and they're playing again tonight. Steber has gotten off to a very poor start so lets hope he can start to turn it around a bit.

Thanks for the update!!!

I like Cam Keith hopefully he keeps playing well, this year St John's have greater depth then years before, which is always a good thing!!!!

Dom D'Amour had an assist tonight for Pensacola. Box score is not updated yet, but it seems like they won 3-2. I bet we see Cam Keith on the scoresheet again tonight.

Edit... D'Amour's being listed as the goal scorer.

He'll probably be a candidate for the player of the week award.

Hey your slacking off PAL

How come you did not keep us updated on Robbie Earl this weekend ..

I had to do my own Homework

Robbie had a goal and an assist against North Dakota with a 5-2 win.

Listening to the Prince George game, Pogge's playing well.

Half way through he's made a few big saves to bail his team out of trouble.

Red Deer scores a second goal, 3-2 PG... a 2 on 2, PG's players messed up, no intensity taking their guys and the RD player tipped it in.

Poor defensive play costs the Cougars a goal.

Those are pretty good numbers, but I would like that save % to go up

Good news for John Mitchell fans

2 assists in a 2-2 Tie on Saturday Night against Belleville

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...?game_id=10937

and

1 goal and 1 assist in a 2- 2 Tie on Wednesday night verses Owen Sound ..

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...?game_id=10947

good to see he is playing better and gaining confidence ..

He now has 4 - 6 - 10 points in 16 games since returning from injury ..

Yeah that is good news for sure.

He's also now got the best point per game ration on the team. Although that doesn't say too much considering Plymouth's top scorer is Dan Collins with only 13 points.

Another thing that I found weird is that Mitchell isn't the only Plymouth player to struggle this year. John Vigilante had 68 points in 66 games last year, but he only has 11 points in 21 games this year.

And Nashville draft pick Vaclav Meidl had 42 points in 67 games last year and has dropped to 9 points in 21 games this year.

What's going on in Plymouth this year?

Two Words ...Graduating players ..

I think the team really misses puck moving rearguard and PP QB James Wisniewski

What's going on with Jordan Krestanovich playing in the ECHL in Penascola? Didn't he play with the Avalanche a little last year? Has his stock dropped that much? I'd think he's still an AHL player...

Perhaps the Leafs should sign him to a minor league contract. Not playing too badly with 12 points in 7 games too. Unless the Leafs already do have his rights.

Hello, if you don't mind me invading this thread, I'm a Vancouver Giants fan and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Tyson Marsh is doing? I didn't see him against the Moose on Wednesday so I thought he might be playing in the ECHL but it says in the AHL stats that he's played 11 games for the Maple Leafs. Did he just recently get sent down?

Thanks for your time.

He is with the St. Johns Leafs .. He was dressed as the 7th dman last game but saw little to no ice time in the game ... He may see more tonight as Marc Moro left last game and is a game time decision tonight ...

Marsh has been alright .. as a fan you know Marsh's game and he has been going through an adjustment to the AHL speed level .. but he did beat out higher draft picks David Turon and Dominic D'Amour who are in the ECHL ..

leafs have extra dmen however with Jay Harrison out with injury Marsh has seen some playing time ..

Hey I just came here to post that ..

Looks like he is getting rolling now ..

Too bad for the Slow start and injury ... I thought he had a chance to make the WJC if he would have come flying out of the gate .. but then again the team has tons of returnies

but good to see Mitchell picking it up .. One of my Favourite prospects ,,
