Hamhuis, Burns, Vlasic, Boyle, or Letang would be huge for our D.

Crosby did go once and this is really the only other opportunity he's had to go again.

Crosby is probably the least banged up Penguin having been out for so long. He looks great and in shape, and I am sure he would love this opportunity.

If he does not go, ill be kinda shocked and dissapointed in the guy.

I don't know if Crosby will go, but if I were him I'd want to play some more hockey after only 20 regular season + 6 playoff games.

I think we can add up to 25 players???

So we can add an additional 2 forward from your list...

Hamhuis or Burns, letang , Neal , Staal and ??

Forget it...Give some youngster a chance...maybe Fleury a chance to redeem...

Or just go with Ward and Dubnyk ...

Dregger tweeted this morning that we'll know by tomorrow if Crosby goes or not. Dregger indicated that he should go, so take that however you want.

That would be great, but i dought it...he won't want to take a chance...i was rather disapointed about Stamkos not going...his "shoulder" injury...

Anyways...with Pittsburgh out and Vancouver out and maybe Boston and Chicago next we can get 5 good players...

What is Dregs basing his "he should go" comment on? On a useless side note, if Crosby did go and win, he could be part of the Triple Gold Club

I highly doubt Crosby will go. IMO, the most likely to go at this point are Staal and maybe Couture.

There's a very slight chance Burrows could go, only because he never represented Canada internationally before and because we're lacking bottom six forwards.

I don't see the rush to replace Ward. Especially with a goalie like Fleury.

Price was injured when the invites went out. Cam Ward and Devan Dubnyk already accepted invites to the team.

Other players already confirmed are:

Schenn, Phaneuf, Bouwmeester, Subban, Methot on D

Benn, Eberle, Getzlaff, Evander Kane, Ladd, Nugent-Hopkins, Ryan O'Reilly, Perry, Teddy Purcell, Skinner & Tavares.

That leaves room for 1 more goalie, 2 defenseman, and 2 forwards.

If Luongo wants to be the starter then he better get his butt on plane to Helsinki and Stockholm.
