I've noticed that as well.

I wonder what the ratio is PP shots by defenseman to PP shots by forwards during this streak of inefficiency...

It's always moved up to Salo or Edler for the shot. They need to work it down low a bit and get the forwards shooting.

Maybe. We just seem less assertive on the PP and if we need to just play ourselves out of that then so be it, but hooboy what a funk.

Raymond is having a rough game so far, bad penalty to take there.

In fairness, the shooter is usually Kesler who was a complete disaster on the last PP.

I thought Kesler had a good opportunity, but he chose to pass it back to the middle where the shot got blocked well out.

They're not getting it on net and driving for the rebounds.

You know, I have to give Luongo credit. He hasn't messed up an easy catch with his glove in a while.

I think it's almost like we miss Ehrhoff a bit back there.

Even when forwards do take shots, its from the point.

or was that edler? i thought i saw #22

Nevermind, a D shot. typical play

And they keep icing the exact same PP unit who is showing a complete lack of creativity and urgency

Maybe it's time to take Kesler off the first unit for a while. Burrows wouldn't get worse results the way things are going right now.

Put Burrows out there to start the period, he deserves it.

Edit: Beaten to it ^^

Burrows or Hodgson

Though Hodgson makes for a good 2nd unit

Luongo's glove hand is incredible now. Who knew one small change would actually turn his weakest point into one of his strongest now.

Ever since I saw him in the WJCs, I was always looking forward to seeing him on the PP with the Sedins. You can tell he's thinking the game on the same level as them, they could be deadly with a few weeks of practice.

Will they ever update the home hardware ad? Brett Connolly is becoming tedious.

Even Brett Connolly's mother is getting sick of this.
