LOL, yes bryz stole the game alright. By letting in two horribly weak goals and yet again not coming up with a difficult save

A wins a win, we can build off that better than another loss. Bar that 1 awful min in the 3rd we were good tonight, not great but good enough, just ironing out the kinks... Gotta play 60mins of hockey, but 59 is better than the 40 we were playing.

When was that exactly? I particularly liked the wrist shot from the circle he let in to a defenseman who's never scored 10 goals in his career.

Everyone is harping on about Bryz, he stole the game in the 3rd. Chicago was the better team in the end but the Flyers won due to Bryz.

the only goal you can reall completely put on him was that seabrook goal, thats a shot he has to stop, no question about it. but you could really make a case for all the rest of those goals being much more on the D than on Bryz. That kane goal, especially you just cannot put on bryz. put any netminder in the goal on that play, and it goes in 99 times out of 100.

nevertheless, bryz is still not looking like he's reacting too quick, and doesn't look confident. but making 30 saves against the best team in the league, is not something to scoff at, regardless of if he let in some questionable ones. definitely not the worst game he's played this year.

i still think he's going to get it together.

also, i really hope he keeps the brown pads.

He doesn't deserve a break. He got a big dollar contract because he's supposed to deliver and be a big time goaltender. The only thing big Bryz has been so far is a bust. It's clear that the system in Phoenix made him look better than what he really is. I figured he'd have a much easier time in Philadelphia because of the overall team game, but he's been horrible. At some point, he's going to have to earn that money or they send him back to Siberia. I'm a huge Bryzgalov fan, but I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed that he has been so terrible since coming to Philadelphia. Christ, as someone else pointed out on here, Michael F'ing Leighton looked like a superstar when he was here. That should speak in volumes about how terrible Bryzgalov has been.

I am LOVING how Harts has been playing recently. Absolutely stepping up his game and dominating.

People, set down the glass and move away from the Bryz kool-aid.

Your saying a goalie who let in FOUR goals in a four to five victory, stole the game.

For realz? Who stole the game? Bryz or the Flyers scorers?

I also thought I would point this out - Sean Couturier - 7:37 of ice time this evening. I've said it before and I'll say it again -> Laviolette must hate this guy. It's clear that Couturier hasn't won Peter's trust to get more ice time and yet, the guy is probably the best defensive forward on the team and is one of the better face off guys on the club. What a waste of a very good young player......

I'm sorry, but this is all completely ridiculous and not even close to the truth

Fact is he let in 2 awful goals. A wrister from a defensemen from the circle and a deflection where he tried to poke check for some mind boggling reason leaving the 5 hole wide f'ing open

You dont let in 2 terrible goals and steal a game

He had a concussion a few weeks ago. He's still young. Laviolette has a few constants, giving Giroux, Timmonen, Mezaros and Carle over 20 minutes a game. The other players' ice time will vary from one game to another.

JVR has been playing, what 10 minutes a game most nights?

FINALLY someone sees it. Lavi's system would be great for the '87 Oilers but this team is thin up front and its blue lines corps is a sieve.

Sadly, he refuses to adjust despite the obvious fact that his system doesn't match his personnel.

They are in big trouble if he doesn't learn.

Stealing a game is making the saves when the team needs it the most. No one expects a goalie to have a shutout every night.

I think if Bryz were to have a 30 save shutout he would still not get the credit he deserves.
