I remember him having issues at the end of last season that put him out several games, as well as a few other games.

Honestly, I have nothing to base it on, but I've often wondered the same thing this season. To me, it's not that he looks lazy at times, it's that he looks like he's in pain.

Would be interested to know your source though.

Ya, i probably should elaborate a bit more. I heard this from my brother, who heard it from a lady he was talking to. Well they were talking, and she brought up how she has a friend that plays for the Blue Jackets, and my brother asked who, she told him Rick Nash. Apparently she met him and her back specialist office, and they got to talking. He apparently told her he's there because he's having pretty bad back pain, and that by the end of games his finger are numb because of it. He even told her that he's taking cortisone shots before games, but doesn't want to do surgery because of his hockey career.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this? Because it would explain a lot.

He just needs to put some 'tussin on it. Let that 'tussin get in there. Let that 'tussin go down to the bone! If you run out of it, put some water in the jar, shake it up, more 'tussin!

Yeah it's true, it's from years of carrying the Jackets....

If that is the case it's a rather new development... Or Howson is a moron for signing a player with that level of back problems to such a large contract.

Pretty sure "some woman my brother was talking to" isn't listed as a credible source. I'll check but meantime - closed.
