Gibson is being lit up like a Christmas tree. Not his fault though, the Finns are terrible.
Yeah he's not getting much help. There was nothing he could do on the first 3. The last two were stoppable, but he's pretty much on his own out there. He's made some nice saves, too.
Gibson has been very average today. Finns are not playing real well in front of him, but he has looked shaky and at very least the Huberdeau goal was stoppable. He will rebound though, I am sure. Finns have blueline is very very young and they depend heavily upfront on the Granlund line with Armia line helping only slightly. The real test for them comes up later in their last two round robin games versus Czech and Denmark.

2012 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS LA KINGS!!! GO JETS GO!
Off to the DEN-USA game right away I am going to keep an eye on Forbort and Gravel, will have a scouting report for you all after the game. Not really cheering for either team since the USA has Kings prospects but I played the DEN U-18 team a few years back (with my club team team, also played LA AAA Jr. Kings in that tourney ), so I kinda like them (of course my attempt to shadow Lars Eller was woefully inadequate).

Should be fun anyways.
You play Beau Bennett and Shane McColgan in that tourny? (and Gaspar )
I've seen more attacking play/offensive aggression by Forbort in the first period of this game, then I did in the few ND games I've seen. How much of that is Blias coaching vs ND's coach or playing vs Denmark or playing with a great offensive line-up IDK, but hope it continues.
Also should note, Forbort is paired with the only 17 yo on the team. And seems to be getting good amounts of PK time, but won't be getting PP as US is running 1 Dman on the point with Merril/Clendening running it.
Just back from the game, US was dominate in every aspect. Coyle is awesome, he was too big, too strong for the Danes, and Zucker has unreal hands and speed. Both great players.
Forbort was solid if unspectacular in the game. He was dominate in the corners, but Danes program is still not there yet so hard to say whether that was his development or just the weakness of the Denmark team. The hit on Gravel looked like a solid bodycheck to me, was it that bad? I was a little far up to see if the elbow was up or it was to the head.
