If this team is going to make some noise in the post season they are going to have to improve their PP and FO%.

Why do teams even bother stepping in there anymore?

there are a lot of stops but there's no way the train averages a speed of 90 mph for the trip.

trains got from place to place more quickly 100 years ago

Staal-Girardi
McDonagh-Sauer
Del Zotto-Stralman
Eminger

Erixon and McIlrath in the system. Oh boy.
Holy **** I like that. Young and able defense with a ton of depth.

BOS destroying NJD and CGY doesn't really phase me, I think it would be interesting to see how we handle them.

Why start a rookie backup against Boston? Stupid move by Sutter.

Great to see MDZ joining the rush as much as he is.

Is it just me or had McD become a lot more 'timid' in his own zone? he seems to be a lot more passive than he was early in the season

Not only are the Bruins a skilled team that is gelled with chemistry, 2/3rds of their first line are filled with goons who will fight back at all costs. Their defense is also physically dominant with Chara, Boychuk, MacQauid and Ference. Young superstar in the making in Tyler Seguin, one of the best 2-way centers in bergeron, best agitator in Marchand, the list keeps going on and on.

They are the model franchise along with the Red Wings IMO. I hope Clarke brings the same success with his picks in Boston with our picks in NY.
