Wasn't an elbow, it was tucked. Top of his shoulder to the jaw, so it was to the head. I guess it could be a 'Illegal check to the head' but that looked like a good hit. If shanny suspends for that, well, I don't know what to say.

Exactly the commentators are all over Cole for the hit but wasn't that for Datsyuk.

Actually if you read the Blues thread on the main board you see Wings fans arguing Datsyuk only hit Jackman in the head with the shoulder, ultimately conceding the elbow came up at the end. That's how it differs from Cole's hit – Cole never hit him in the head with the elbow.

Different game and style to face Red Wings. It was a heavy defensive game yesterday... not so much that way tonight. Good to see the strategy changed up and players responding to what Hitch wants.
