I know this isn't necessarily about helping Neal out, but I wanted to post this and didn't know where else to put it. I stumbled across this article and I'm just going to assume it's some sort of blog from some Philadelphia A-hole. I was just ready to compliment the people from that Flyers website that are trying to raise money and such for Neal, and then I come across articles like this that remind me why I hate those people with every ounce of passion in my body. Author is saying that the Rangers doing something for Neal is "despicable."

Just read the comments below that post, along the lines of "I'm glad someone finally spoke out and had the guts to say it". They're basically all saying the guy had it coming and brought it on himself and is being rewarded for insulting the Flyers.

Say what???

It's part of the whole Broad Way Bullies ethos that a number in that fan base choose to follow. Pretty sad stuff. But the consider that the poster is alone by himself....in his moms basement....at age 40 or something.

Total Loser.

I dont think it is a good idea, never know who gets their hands on it.
Better to have people who want to give something use the gift site

Arrested and charged.

Quote:
He was arrested in 2006 in Vero Beach, Fla., for probation of a felony conviction. Records show he lived there at the time.

Veteri was also also has a 2004 arrest in Broward County for heroin possession, as well as a 2001 misdemeanor arrest out of Fort Lauderdale for battery, records show.

Its people like this guy who shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. He will probably get 3 months in prison and be out again. Such a shame.

32 years old? That is absolutely pathetic. I honestly thought the assailants couldn't be more than 27. This guy really is trash.

Maybe if he beat up some random guy, but he pummelled a cop and decorated ex marine. Besides getting the maximum sentence, he'll be getting extra special treatment from the prison guards

I certainly hope you're right. This guy represents the worst of Philly sports fans.

Just so you know, there are no ex-Marines. Once a Marine, always a Marine. =)

I'm happy they finally got one of these *******s. Now the rest will soon be in. This has no room in sports, I was hoping someone would pay for this ugliness. Good work to all parties involved.
