The Canucks are such a bunch of sissys, unbelievable. I had no idea what kind of a team that was before we met them in the finals, to be honest.

But those quotes from Sedin should make every B's fan happy. It tells me how deep it must hurt them not to be the SC-champions. They were almost a lock to win it and it's not like we stole it from them, we completely outplayed them. With a little luck on our side, the series wouldn't have gone the full distance.

They should thank god that our battle will be coming after back-to-back games for us, but I still expect us to have the upper hand, the Canucks won't win on saturday, book it.

Edit: Wow, can't get over the video Marchmont punching Sedin multiple times. Trying to draw a penalty is one thing, but getting abused by that try is kinda laughable. Grow yourself some balls, Daniel.

Let's hope the refs are those who have a firm grasp of the "integrity" of the game and ignore the Nucks antics

Good lord.

As long as this team continues to take this attitude toward the game, they'll NEVER win a Cup. I don't care HOW talented they are.

When I first saw this today, I thought someone had resurrected an old thread just for kicks. Then I find out it's from today.

Pretty much. As soon as you start worrying about the other team, you've already lost. No doubt that the twins have a ridiculous amount of talent, I just question their attitude, the "IT" factor if you will.

I had the same doubts about many of the Bruins after losing to Philly 2 years back, and they stormed back to win the cup the very next season. But for some reason I can't envision the Canucks grasping the whole toughness/team concept the same way Boston did...or any other cup winner for that matter.

all i fear is 5 on 3's, otherwise, let 'em have a 12 pims to 2 advantage for all i care.

Said it back then and will keep saying it till the day i pass to the sweet hereafter - the most under rated story of the SCF was our pk unit against their pp. We had at least 2 shorties that i can remember, plus like a 95% kill percentage, or something equally ridiculous.

THIS. Honestly, if their GM had any sense he'd just blow it up over there, including the coach. What kind of GM is OK with icing a team with that kind of attitude?!

And I can't get over how pathetic that Marchand/Sedin incident is. Down 5-2 with 1:31 left in the game and Sedin is trying to draw a powerplay that wouldn't change a damn thing rather than defend himself like a man against a guy who he's got like 6 inches on.

What I liked most was that the refs finally got tired of the Nuck crap and just ignored all their acts.

Disagree a bit, these boards and the media were raving about the smothering PK of the B's, nobody could have missed it, Paille was a beast.

It's also pretty telling that their mentality coming into the Bruins game is that they need to draw a bunch of penalties to win. Have they ever considered just coming out and being the better team 5-on-5?

The Canucks are once again right there at the top of the league standings. They won't blow it up. They are still under the impression that they are a great team.

Now your just talking silly Russell, that would be the kind of thing a team who plays with pride and integrity do, and that clearly goes against the grain when talking about the Nucks.

I'll take the best 5 on 5 team in hockey anytime.

But first things first, let's take care of the Flames and make sure Jerome enjoys his 500th somewhere else.
Truth be told, I wouldn't mind if he scored his 500th on Saturday. Against the Canucks

would somebody who knows how to do this please embed the following vid....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkxjY...layer_embedded

It's taken from post 152 of their thread titled pre game talk. It is HIGHlarious. They even throw the "Mahshmont" moniker in there. (not sure why they mention me at the end, "no pie". I'm in their heads i guess).

The Bruins response to this nonsense will no doubt be a tough, physical 60 mins and beating them.

My response, since I can't play is 2 for 33. That's 6.1% .... also Congrats on the Western Conference Championship ladies!

Well, they weren't a poor team. They lost the cup by one game. But they have the smell of the late 90's Senators teams.
