Brule 18 pts in 27 game this year in AHL..

There's no room for Brule on this roster except the fourth line.

If Montreal plans to turn into a seller...there would be room for him....so guess will see....

Lets be honest being 7-8pts back ....high hill to climb ..very long odds.

Habs got a good shot at him" if " they want him ...

At 925 k on re-entry I'd be shocked if nobody takes a gamble, especially with all the players now injured around the NHL.

What does he bring that we don't already have? We have plenty of plugs like him in Darche, Noke and gomez. When White comes back we will have to get rid of someone anyways. Habs should not grab him, not enough upside.

Call me crazy but I think I`d take Brule over Darche, and I`m no brule fan.

Exactly and like someone else mentioned with all the injuries around the league this would be a good move if we are sellers. A team like Pittsburgh would be even more stuck and if they want help they would have to deal to get that help and lose future assets

I'd take Brule on re-entry. One pick after Carey. Can't hurt to take a gamble.

Darche has been pretty terrible this year, and I hope and think that there's very little chance he'll be back next year. I'm not too worried about the difference in cap hit of one over the other.

Can Brule even play wing? I don't care about Darche either but the guy can be a useful 4th liner, can brule even contribute without top 6 time?

Brulé is playing "too big" for his size, which brought him numerous injuries and harmed his overall development.

And he might had been over evaluated too.

He can play wing

I will give them points for stirring up passion though...

... passionate hatred that is
Flyers aren't that bad now that Carcillo and Richards are gone.

I'd put a claim on Brule if I were the Habs. It doesn't hurt to try and him out and he could end up being a decent player for us with good coaching.

The only way Darche is back next year is if the GM in place (hopefully not Gauthier) doesn't want to launch a debate about getting rid of another french speaking player on the team. The guy would do a very good job on the Bulldogs, on the Habs not so much. Hope to see an upgrade in his spot next season.

And yes I believe Brule could be an upgrade over Darche right now, but with players now coming back from injury, I can't see the Habs claiming him.

Brule, EXACTLY the type of player Montreal DOESN'T need. Small and underperforming. I'm surprised how many of you guys want him.

He's not the right fit, for sure.
