Would anyone be heavily opposed to a bench clearing brawl?

At least we're not Calgary. Just getting spanked against the Bruins.

Drew Tate connects on a 43-yard pass to Jarome Iginla and we're all tied in Boston.

It doesn't matter. Sometimes in hockey you just need to prove you are not afraid of them. St. Louis is going to push until we take a stupid penalty, unless we can prove we aren't afraid. Hell I'd take Eberle or Horcoff fighting one of their skilled players if that's what it would take.

That's the problem with the Oilers this year, they are playing scared hockey. Someone needs to have some damned swagger out there.

I love the CHL commercial with the Q coach saying...

"Who wants the puck? do you or they do?

Reminds me of my own families broken english.

That's actually the hilight of the game for me so far.

Smyth seems to be able to handle Backes better than Horcoff could.

I second the bench-clearing brawl idea. Although that would end badly for the Oilers.

Looking at the Calgary game makes me care a lot less about the score of this game.

Easy for you to say from behind the keyboard I suppose. The Blues are one of, if not the toughest team in the league. And we are one of the softest. That's like hoping the Canadiens go out and beat up the Boston Bruins. It just isnt going to happen.

And I think the team has been standing up for themselves rather well tonight.

The effort by the Oilers is seriously frustrating... they've got no fire in their bellies.

Trust me when I say I've been filled in my fair share on the ice. I played most of my contact age hockey in Meadow Lake. The place is a hotbed of goons, you are lucky to get through a practice with 2 or 3 fights let alone a game.

So you can appreciate how futile the Oilers trying to play the Blues game would be.

For all this mocking of the Flames they're still ahead of the Oilers in the standings.

Chirping them in a situation like this is something you'd see on CP. Let's not do that.

8-0 Bruins now. Even we fared better than that.

They love kicking us when we're down, so why not?
