40 min. TOI for Bourdon. Problem solved.
Don't think this means they're going to acquire a defenseman because they can't.

Just ****ing grand...
Hopefully it's something that will last a week at most. He blocked a shot with his hand/wrist right?

Kimmo Timonen has an upper body virus.
2 days from now, Holmgren will update the situation and let us know he has a concussion and is out indefinitely.

Howard Eskin speculated "wrist injury" earlier tonight. If so, it could be related to the Winter Classic.
There'll be more info later tonight.

It's a frightening thought having both Lilja and Walker on the ice, please don't be serious.

At the rate we're going I can account that he suffered the upper body injury by putting on the Flyers jersey.

If he's out for an extended period of time it will be ugly....maybe Gus can lessen the impact. He's due back right? Still I mean it was only a matter of time Timonen was going to get hurt with Pronger out. We need a D man acquisition ..period

At one point, he skated towards the bench and then was shown looking at his hand/wrist area. That's not to say this is related to tonight's injury.

FWIW, from Tim P.:

Paul Holmgren won't talk about Timonen's upper-body injury (cough, wrist, cough) and said he will be re-evaluated tomorrow

I tend to pay no attention to what happens to Timonen physically because I take his indestructibility for granted.

gus i think was sent to ahl for some conditioning. we can afford to lose Kimmo. He is just as important as Giroux if not more important without Pronger already.

Timonen power means he cannot get concussions... especially with career point 500 coming up.

Kimmo declines chance to speak to media. That's unusual for him, so I'm guessing he will miss some time

I'm guessing that's a typo
but yes, losing Timonen, especially with Pronger out, is VERY VERY bad
