Because Khabby is a free agent and we hate free agents. Dubnyk was a first round pick and we always let them get away with everything for a few years until we ultimately turn on them and run them out of town too (it's called the Rob Schremp rule). Also, Khabby's daughter is a lot better looking than Dubnyk. That buys Nick a little breathing room as well.

Holy crap, I didn't realize Hall has 10 goals and 17 points in his last 15 games (One of those games he only played a period because of his injury)

That is ridiculous
I think it's night and day watching this team play with and without Hall he really is the engine that runs this team. Sure Eberle and RNH produce extremely well but none of them make the difference when they aren't producing that Hall does.

Over the last 10 or so games I'd say he's really turned a corner, he's playing awesome, it's amazing having so much talent up front.. now if only we could get some defense ... lol

A lot of people said that the oilers would get back to winning after Hall came back...oops! Hall will keep playing great and putting up points as long as he plays with Gagner/Hemksy or RNH when he gets back. Keep him the he** away from Horcoff.

The Oilers don't need players that are injury-prone and that's what Nail is. Isn't this his third or fourth injury this season already.

totally agree. He's got captain writen all over him; and I still say his ceiling is higher than Ebs and RNH (and Seguin).

Management didn't realize we needed enough quality NHL defensemen to fill up our spots, because there are always injuries, and the injuries have been there all season! As a result, we're dressing a back end which includes Corey Potter as our #1 D-man. Doesn't that seem like a problem to anyone else?

Even though I've thrown the towel on this season, our AHL line-up makes me sick.
Actually, I'm pretty sure they did realize this. What many posters don't realize is that there are only 210 NHL defensemen jobs filled by about 170 actual NHL calibre defensemen worth trading for. Of those 170, about 100 are not going to be trade at all. of the remaining 70, anywhere from 40 to 50 will not be aquired with a Hemsky or Gagner or 2nd round pick. see where i'm going?
