Quick could go from $1.8 to $7 million per.

He's going to get a huge raise. Hopefully he takes closer to $5, but he could ask for $8.

I didnt see a angle that showed the net off the moorings, and that's the only way they could overturn the call on the ice. All the replays just show it lift up but that's it.

I might be the lone fan that enjoyed that game.... Both teams with great defensive efforts. 2 hot goalies and a few good chances for both teams.

The good- besides the obvious (quick and the d) lokti is coming around. He has pretty good vision. Maybe it's time to move stoll to Richards wing again.

The bad- richie and stoll. Ive pretty much lost faith in both players. Stoll just has no vision to play center.

It's no wonder he's so strong battling down low in the net.

Love Quick, but if the media wants to overlook him for Vezina or Allstar consideration, that's great news. We know how great he's playing, and national attention will only drive up his asking price after next year. Once he signs a new contract, then he can get the spotlight.

As long as Quick doesn't have the same agent as Drew Doughty ... hey maybe Jack "home town discount / budget agent" Johnson can be Quickers agent ?

Quick has the best GAA, SV%, and shutouts out of any goaltender that has played more than 30 games. Has faced the 6th most shots. He is now top 5 in all statistics overall, except for SV%, he is 6th...

Someone needs to make a Quick montage from this season. Make it happen.

Guess I was wrong. Didn't know that it has to be completely off the peg. Thought it only had to off the ice.

Guess Murphy couldn't screw the Kings tonight.

Good to win. Crappy hockey team on the ice... another half a season of this ****. WOOHOO!!!

Other observations:

- Trevor Lewis does NOT belong in the NHL. See also: Clifford, Kyle (at least not yet)

- Penner needs an opportunity somewhere else ASAP. (send him to Anaheim for pucks/picks, etc.)

- Mike Richards makes **** happen, but when you have Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb as your linemates you're probably going to have a serious drinking problem.

- Stoll and Williams suuuuuuuuck. Lombardi needs to move one of these *******s NOW.

- Willie Mitchell is awesome, I hope we can re-sign him. Props to Scuderi too for being patient with this organization.

- Quick. Thanks bro.

- Sutter has made the Greene/Johnson pairing work. AMAZING.

Rinne just got $7 million. It's up to Quick's agent. The Kings won't have any leverage. The Kings have the worst offense in the NHL, Quick will be UFA.

They can still rule it a goal if the net being out of the moorings had zero outcome or effect on wether or not the puck was going to cross the line for a goal legally. Which was certainly the case here.

The puck was going to go in legally regardless of wether or not the net came up.

Kings have some leverage and his name is Jonathan Bernier.

JQ may not have the best offensive support, but he's got one of the best defense in front of him and he has to realize that.

Was the net just "up", or was it completely off the moorings when the puck went in?

At the half way point.

It was just up. The showed the rule after the game and I didn't realize that the net has to be completely off the pegs.

There was no way Toronto could have disallowed the goal.
