Can anyone out there give a scouting report on Chris, is he a younger version of Anthony and also what is his draft year and is he good enough to be chosen.
They play the same style but Chris, obviously, doesn't have the same skill level as Anthony. He's a late '87 birthday, so he isn't draft eligible until 2006 but right now I'd say it's a long shot at him being drafted. He's been a healthy scratch for the majority of the games thus far.
The games I've been to he's actually been on the penalty kill pretty much every penalty and he's great defensively (blocking shots, backchecking, etc). Offensively he hasn't impressed me too much but he's got a few points, not bad for a rookie.
i'd wait till next year to give a scouting report on them, not too many good players are superstars when they're 15 in the OHL
Stewart is already 17 -- a late 87 birthday.
He has really progressed since the start of the season, though. Going from healthy scratch to regularly playing on a line with Bobby Hughes. It looks like the Frontenacs have one of their best rookie crops (Stewart, Smolenak, Shutron, Emmerton, Bolt, etc ...) in years and years.
I think Chris has a presence on the ice a lot like Anthony's. He has a good eye and decent wheels. Had he spent last season on skates, instead of cleats, he'd probably have been even better this season.
