no need to trade Bolland unless we get a better Center back that had success in the POs

I'd dance a happy dance like you wouldn't believe if Bolland was shipped out East.

(I've never denied how much he gets under the skin of the Canucks)

damn i would really like bolland on the ducks.. but if you want a BETTER C to replace him then we can't do that..

if you want a top 4 defensive D then we could trade lydman+

I don't think Bolland will be traded because it seems like he's very highly regarded by the organization but...

Assuming Kruger is healthy and regains form, I think the asking price would be a #3 defenseman on a multi-year contract at a good price, at least. Maybe even a decent F prospect added. Bolland holds a lot of value to Chicago and I'm not sure other teams would be willing to give up what Bowman would ask.

Maybe something around Brooks Laich for Bolland (thought the female Caps fans would hate this)?

Would love to re-unite Ladd with Bolland.
Would you take Antropov and a 2nd?
Probably the only thing the Jets could offer given they would be reluctant to deal young players like Little, Burmistrov or their 1st round pick.
Also Ladd or Buff going back to Chicago is unlikely as well as they are too important to Jets franchise

Mark Stuart + Patrice Cormier for Bolland

Stuart although probably not a normal number 3 has been playing top 4 minutes for Jets this season given the injuries to Enstrom and Hainsey

If you want a top-4 defenseman, would you be interested in a Greene/Salvador (+ ??) for Bolland deal?

If Kruger comes back soon and plays well enough to use as our third line pivot, Bolland for Grabo would actually make some sort of sense.

He'd still tear Vancouver apart. Except from the inside. That's Chicago's final plan.

LOL @ Grabovski for Bolland. No thank you.

Bolland isn't on any sort of trading block besides 3-4 impatient Hawk's fans on HF boards. His playoff level of play is invaluable.

If you're expecting him to have decent numbers playing in the revolving door of Bickell, Frolik, Stalberg, and Brunette then you're nuts. If your expecting awesome +/- from him playing on the Hawks checking line in front of Montador/SOD/Scott and Crawford/Emery then you're also nuts.

would you do this deal when you want to win the Cup?

Antropov is nice to have, but not for Bolland. Chicago wouldn't like this. Not that Nik is bad, just not what we need while giving up Bolly.

I was evaluating the trade in this thread and the Jets are way off topic. Personally I'd put him behind Little in terms of ability. When you also consider age, contract and the fact that Grabovski is a whiny *****, I don't think Grabovski's even close in trade value. It is funny that you'd be so sensitive about Grabovski as to attack a team that's completely unrelated to the discussion.
Grabovski is a good player and a very capable number 2 center, he's consistently dangerous whenever i've seen him play. Why all the hate, it wasn't an unreasonable proposal(not saying Hawks do it either)?

Bolland and a Blackhawks 2nd rounder 2012 for a teams #2 defenseman at 5.5-5.9 million would be perfect.

or Bolland & Frolik to Toronto for Gunnarssson and MacArthur or something like that

I would do that.

Stalberg-Toews-Kane
Sharp-Grabo-Hossa
Bickell-Kruger-Frolik
tons of guys for 4th line duty

Keith-Seabrook
Hammer-Leddy
Gunnarsson-Montador

quite solid, only wildcard is Kruger as shutdown C.

No, Frolik and Bickell would not be there, they'd be on fourth line duty.

I think that is pretty fair. I'm not crazy about Grabovski but he is worth his contract $$ and both G's are light cap hits so I would have to do this deal. It would position the Hawks to add another 4-5 million top 6 forward.

done where do I sign

I know eh, what kind of an idiot would want a 60 point center who's 27 years old and one the scrappiest players in the league? It's only a matter of time before guys like him are no longer in the league.
