Look Ma! No goals!

The Good -

- Liked Vanek's defense tonight. That line had some chances.

The Bad -

- Can someone finish? Please?
- More stupid leads to more goals against. Leo should know better about the stick. Myers-Gerbe in OT.

The Ugly -

- Leino getting the **** end of the stick on what could've been the biggest goal of the year for this team.
- Wasting a solid effort from Enroth.

****...meet fan. This team just couldn't deal with expectations this year. Mental midgets, as we suspected. Time to be bold, Mr. Pegula...

Sounds like it's time to move on to Stage 5... Acceptance. No point in being in Denial, Angry, Bargaining with, or Depressed about this group. They stink.

I think they might actually be a lottery team this year. How about that.

I think we've got the wrong type of fan as an owner :/ he's too in love with the guys he inherited.

no, they'll pull it together just in time to squeak in as an 8th seed, or get eliminated in teh final few days of the season.

They do suck though

I'm sure Regier will still find a way to draft a defenseman.

This has been my concern.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder why bother with an ownership change when the reality is, the people running this team are as dumb as ever and stubborn as ****. **** golden turds. Pegula should have come in and cleaned house top to bottom. Starting to lose respect for him; especially after he bothers to MAKE A STATEMENT about his support of the new PSU football coach. Who the **** cares, Terry?

Could they take a page out of the '07 Flyers? Granted, they would need to find a farm team willing to send them some pending UFA's for picks/prospects and then get them signed. And they need an offensive leader... not much available in unrestricted free agency. Philly came out of that summer with JVR in the draft, Hartnell, Briere, Timonen, and Upshall up front.

I predict 10th or 11th, in the end. They'll be eliminated with 4 games left in the season...leaving us fans with the hope of making it, but only to be dashed in the end

I'd rather them Fail for Nail or something, though...

The Good....apparently Regier is now ready to deal as stated on CBS...or maybe Pegula is ready to deal regardless of Regier....Derek Roy is on the trading block

The Bad...we lost a valuable point to an Eastern Conference competitor

The Ugly....getting outshot roughly 3 to 4

Only saw the 3rd period so

G: Leino
Myers
Jet's intensity and hustle

B: Defensive play
Forecheck
Leo

U: Whifs
passing
give aways
no puck support
no cover on pinches at blue line
ref's

As mentioned in GDT, this Sabre team has ZERO confidence in itself and each other (and it's coaching I presume). Expect the worst and that's what you'll get. This is intolerable. Ownership made great statements about belief, confidence, state of mind, etc.. All of this seems to have been lost on this team.

The Sabres are FRAGILE and appear broken.

Somebody want to start a thread about the most defining moment of the season so far? If so, I'd say it's the Lucic hit on Miller. Sabres have never been the same since.

So true, I think it's too clear now to deny. It is eating away at Miller. I believe this especially; it's completely messed him up. Tough to go back now, because this seems like a team that isn't interested in working through it together. Reminds me of when Savard went down in BOS, and supposedly the team reacted similarly to the Sabres; thing is, they used it in a positive way, and went all in together to overcome it. Something is incredibly wrong here.

Seems like it's close, pending Roy's shoulder. Play the Wings and Hawks off one another. Roy at #2 behind Toews or Datsyuk makes either significantly better. It's again what the Sabres have never been able to do -- slot someone in above him and let him be a very good #2 pivot.

I'm so sick of this garbage team. Regier is all talk no move will be made and Darcy will be sure to "educate" us about how "tough" the market is.

This team is a joke top to bottom, maybe if Pegula wasn't such a smug attention ***** he would realize his franchise he bought is trash.

Top to bottom this team needs to be gutted... If it means trading Vanek, Poms, Myers etc then so be it, I'm sick of this laughingstock team.

So..looking at the shift charts. Why was Vanek out since the 12 minute mark of the first, until 16 minutes left in the second?

I missed the first and second periods.
