Phil Kessel

With that goal and assist tonight, that puts Kessel back tied with Giroux for #2 in points in the NHL.

How long does you think he will keep this up?

Where do you think he will finish the season with points and how many?

Depends when he gets picked during the All-Star game

44 goals, 87 points, but he most certainly has a good chance at 45+/90+

I do think he'll hit a cold streak eventually, though not long ones like before.

Crap, he'll probably get picked early this time around, meaning he'll suck it up afterwards. Damn it, we gotta tell them to pick him last.

He just went through a cold streak, scoring 4 goals in 16 games. He's starting to heat up again with the goals

Anyways I think he will end up with 46-46-92

obviously this is off topic. I'd say 42 goals and 88pts.

For those who think it's a "streak", that's 98 points in 98 games played.

I feel pretty optimistic that he will hit 40. Could even hit 50.

45+ Goals
40+ Assists

Then he'll remain a top-10 goal scorer and a top-20 point getter in the league throughout his career

Great thing about this year is that even if he's not scoring, he's getting assists.

I think he was still playing with Crabb this time last year.

He hasn't had many multi point games lately and he's still at the top of the league in points. He's due for a few 2 & 3 pointers which should help him in his point totals. Best guess from me is,

44 g
52 a
96 p

Who knows. I mean who really thought that he or Lupul would have kept this pace and this consistency up.

His longest pointless streak is one game. His longest goalless streak has been 6 games. His largest goalless streaks tend to occur in from mid January to mid February, so if he can shake that I think we could be looking at around a 90 point season from him.

Why is this off-topic? lol

It's hard to say where he'll finish. I don't want to get too excited but Kessel and Lupul have been a treat to watch offensively. They somehow find ways to make plays and find the back of the net and the best part of them as a duo is that with all of the talks about needing a number one centre, it turned out that so far this season, we have two wingers who have shown that it doesn't matter who you put between them.

Anything over 40 goals for Kessel this season will be great.

We should start making GDT's off topic if discussing Kessel's scoring stats is off topic.

Minimum : 40-40-80
Maximum: 50-50-100

Somewhere in the middle is extremely likely. Im so happy with his play, its great to have a legit star on our team again
