I think he ends up with 44 goals / 44 assist / 88 points.

I have to give Kessel credit where due. I didn't think he could elevate his game to where he did, not without a star center and even then...I wouldn't have expected such a complete game from him.

Why are there still questions if Phil can keep it up? He's been doing this for a year now.

How come no one else gets these questions?

Kessel and Giroux are my two favourite forwards in the league and they're both ripping it up!

You only see Lupul scoring 9 more times in the next 41 games?

Kessel - 47 G 45 A = 92 PTS

Lupul - 38 G 48 A = 86 PTS

Imagine if this line had a Getzlaf / Staal like player. They would put up even better numbers.

It looks like other teams might finally be catching on as both of them are "slumping" for the first time all season, still:

Kessel: 43G 42A 85P
Lupul: 30G 52A 82P

Where is the thread with all the hilarious videos featuring Kessel being interviewed? I hope it will be bumped and updated with his lates appearances. I've become a big fan of Kessel lately.

I didn't know where to post this, so I'll slide it in here. Some of you have probably seen it already but I just came across it. Probably the most well-spoken/confident I've seen him in an interview. He's quiet, but seems like alot of things about him get blown out of proportion. I like his focus, saying how he never puts any thought into what media/fans say about him.

I know people keep saying that the ASG wears players down etc, but I can see Lupul and Kessel rip in up for the remainder of the season. They looked like they had a lot of fun and it helped that they put up some points in the ASG. It's more of a boost of confidence and a reason to kick the Sens ass if anything.

I'll say 40 goals, 80 points for Kessel, and for Lupes something more like 32 goals, 80 points.

Isn't it amazing that people talk about Lupul and Kessel as if Bozak didn't exist?

Isn't it amazing that Bozak has scored so few goals on a line with those two?

How many goals and assists would Lupul and Kessel have with a legitimate centre?

Who cares? How many teams actually have a line that stacked at all three positions?

I think I could score 8 goals playing with those two and I stink.

The more I see Kessel the more I like him...And I don't mean only as player but more so as a person. What a great guy. So glad we have him.

I think he'll get 87 points, which would just be terrific.

Kessel Or Carter

Erk has a point when he says Carter has done more, has better Defensive skills and for the next decade is a 5.2 cap it... Kessel is a 5.4 RIGHT NOW and is going to get a HUGE raise in a few years.... just wondering what your guys thoughts are here.. maybe trade for carter which would possibly take the pressure of signing Kessel if he demands to much ?
dont rip first thread here

Kessel has more pure offensive talent. The last 2 years, he has played with 3rd liners and still produced 30+ goals. Also kessel's drive and attitude is much better than Carter's
