From beautiful:

Burger King Arena

Storylines:

When we were at the bottom of the standings last season, why didn't we acquire Ryan Russell earlier? With a heap of injuries this season on both the offense and defense, why didn't we call up Ryan Russell earlier? With an apparent lack of confidence and leadership on the ice, why didn't we call up Ryan Russell earlier? With a new head coach struggling to score enough goals to win games, why didn't we call up Ryan Russell earlier? With a GM who's sitting in the hot seat, why didn't we call up Ryan Russell earlier? With negotiations breaking down over realignment, why didn't we get Ryan Russell involved earlier?

...Oh yeah

Of course the one normal (for us at least) West Coast start time comes at the same time as the Bengals game.

Ah, damn. Was working on a "Candlejack Johnson" edition since no one else seemed to be. Oh well, it was probably a really dumb idea anyw

Arniel is gonna have to coach the game without my input from the sofa and seeing as he has foolishly put Boller back on the 4th line, that's probably in his best interest that I'm not here to shout "DUMBASS!" every time we fail to win a board battle for the puck. LOL

Going to a basketball game with 4 of my favorite fellas so it's a win/win for me. Hope it's a great night for the boys in Union Blue too!! Go Jackets!!

(note: I will DVR, of course, and will be taking notes on slackers. Don't be on that list!)

Sadly there are 3 games on at the same time and two matter and the other one not so much. This will be the first Jackets game of the year that I do not what from start to finish.

The roster is a joke? Johnson over Savard when the season is over and we need so that our prospects get experiences. And Johansen in the fourth line? Why destroy the succesful third line Umberger--Pahlsson--Dorsett?

LA 3 CBJ 0. Jackets are shutout. Arniel does a one nighter for biting the mailman claiming he was casting a spell.

Because we need to ruin Johansen as well. So much for playing him strictly at center when he is in the bottom 6. Sure glad he stayed to get that valuable NHL experience instead of playing for his country during the WJC.

Johnson??? Really??? You could put an orange cone in the defensive zone and it would be just as effective. For once I agree with mt-svk. If Savard is here then play him.

At this point in the season, play all of the kids. They need to learn and grow.

As for the game, we rarely play well against the Kings in LA. This one is over Quick

I don't know what to say about this one... How about 2-1, Jackets? Yeah! Columbus wins 2-1.

IT STARTS NOW!

Your guess is just as good as anyone on this board. There is no rhyme or reason to how Arniel picks a starter.

I'm going to be an optimist today. Jackets 3-2.

Also I have the two-TV setup going. But the smaller computer monitor with a regular HD box is actually like 3-4 seconds ahead of my 60-inch TV with the DVR HD box. Weird stuff.

I have the FSWest feed in HD on NHLCI so that's what I'm going with. Anyways...

Kings color guy: Your best players have to be your best.

Did he have a pregame lunch with Davidge?

I was going to go with three, but the Bucks are looking to win easy. That tv will go on the start of the Bengals game.

Wait this is an afternoon game? Not going to be catching this one. Which generally means we win.

I went three TVs last Sunday for the Week 17 double-doubleheaders. I have a 32-inch TV I added to the mix. I usually just do the 23-inch monitor because it's easier to handle and move around and such, since it's built to just be a monitor than a TV built to be one with better sound and more inputs and all that jazz.

Did Arniel really break up the Moore Methot pairing for Moore and Savard? Is he trying to lose?
