Stuart was considering leaving college early, and Boyes had a good shot to be #2 or 3 centre.

Roy had the team made already. Bartovic probably had a good chance of sticking on as a checking line player as would Paul Gaustad as a 4th line center. Thomas Vanek would probably have been given every possible chance to make the team. Doug Janik would have a mild chance as a depth defensemen. Ryan Miller, Jason Pominville and Daniel Paille are varying degrees of distant long shots.

Pivko was the closest thing to a "lock" the Preds had, with Upshall, Segal and Shishkanov having outside chances, as well.

Rita was signed to a one way deal. He'd be with the Oilers although most likely in the press box. Bishai will most likely be up there too if there were injuries.
