How do football players come back so fast from concussions? Football is much more violent than Hockey for the head but you never see a football player out 10 weeks from concussions?

Go Giants!

Good. Ross isn't good but he's better than Prince.

Hopefully a full training camp helps the Prince.

The Packers are an all or nothing get turnovers type defense. They know they can't stop the opponent's progress so they go for the pick/fumble every down.

If Eli can keep from throwing picks the Giants have a chance.

That'll open up a ton of space for Cruz and Hakeem.

I felt that beating Green Bay back in 2007 was way more difficult than the Patriots game. I can only imagine this game is more or less the same unless the Saints meet us.

I think it's going to take a near perfect game on offense for NYG to win.

The biggest thing on D is not simply pressuring Rodgers but doing so without letting him escape the pocket. We really need to see less DL stunts this week. Rodgers causes major damage escaping the pocket. We need the disciplined pressure we saw vs Vick last yr before the collapse.

Invite GB to run. Even if they run successfully(assuming small chunks not huge) it helps. It uses up time & shortens the game. Keep the game close & win it in the 4th qtr. Stop the big plays & make them drive. More plays is more chances to hit Rodgers. Our DL depth hopefully takes advantage of their OL getting tired late.

I really have a hard time seeing our D pull this off. I just think McCarthy's playcalling/formations with Rodgers ability will be too much. I really hope I'm wrong. I live in WI & a win here greatly improves my daily life

GB 42 NYG 27

This is what I have been wondering for the longest time. Maybe its the severity of the concussions? (if there is such a thing)

I'm guessing that generally a football helmet is more preventative & so the football concussions are lighter in general.

Pretty sure players have missed multiple games from concussions in the NFL this year but not like in NHL.

NFL Players may also feel far more pressure to return faster & lie about symptoms.

It's funny how much of a different team the Saints are on the road.

If the Giants get past GB say hello to your super bowl winning squad. We will have the best team of everyone left.

if the niners win thats even more of a reason the rangers need to win tommorrow, they can without a doubt beat the niner to go to the sb. but we have to get past gb tommorrow which wont be easy.

Go home Saints. I'm so sick and tired of their fans, chest pumping like they won multiple SuperBowls.

The Saints are the best team in the league, IMO.

That's why the playoffs are insane.

Their defense is not good. Offensively, probably. But they are a different team in a dome then outside. 11 - 1 in a dome this year, 3 - 3 outside.

Tom Brady is making the Denver D look like a high school defense.

Our defense was awful most of the year... although you'd like to think that you can hold the lead with 4 mins to go... or 90 seconds for that matter. There needs to be some changes this offseason.

The playoffs are no joke. The 49'ers played a great game, made the plays when they mattered and created 5 turnovers. The fact the Saints had a chance to win that game is incredible in itself.

How many "real" Saints fans have you come across? I've been a fan for 20 years and have suffered through a whole lot of terrible seasons. If I want to be happy that my team is finally relevant and among the league's elite, I'm allowed to be...
