Overall I highly recommend taking the train. It beats driving 100%

We didn't actually go to the memorial. Signs on the outside of the construction wall said they cost around 15 bucks and as much as we wanted to go, we couldn't really afford that. The towers themselves are beautiful though. Really well done.
Good deal. Thanks for the information Loods!

I have been looking forward to seeing the Freedom Tower (hard to miss I'd assume) and the memorial. Memorial tickets are how ever much you want to donate.

I don't know if anyone else has ever done this, but I just finished listening to the Inception soundtrack from beginning to end. Mind=Blown. Highly recommended that you take the hour out of your day to do this.

With a certain hockey team leaving something to be desired or viewed. What else are people watching? What shows are bringing you entertainment?

I finished watching the entire series of Boardwalk Empire ... Wow! That's a hell of a show! My wife called it a show filled with the 3 B's ... Booze, Blood, and Boobs

I just started watching the Hell on Wheels series. I'm up to the 3rd episode. It's pretty good.

I've watched all the Fringe episodes, so I'll continue to watch that until it's death (which I think is soon).

Hans Zimmer is a genius. Plain and simple. I have the Inception soundtrack on my Ipod. "Time" is a personal favorite. The amount of amazing soundtracks he's released is very long and the music geek in me is super excited to hear his soundtrack for The Dark Knight Rises.

Agreed, I'm going to start listening to the stuff he's put out over the years.

I'd suggest music from Gladiator, it's great stuff. It's amazing how good he is at a variety of music, from stuff like Inception to The Lion King.

I can't wait for tomorrow!!

(and yes, there's like 0.1% chance we see more than this season - they have confirmed the 22 episodes for Season 4 will run no matter what)

Is it hypocritical to give my wife **** for watching every damn Housewives franchise ever invented as I feast on a TV diet that consists of Storage Wars, Auction Hunters and Gold Rush: Alaska?

I was searching through Netflix and stumbled onto A Bit of Fry And Laurie. A sketch comedy duo of Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, doing a half hour of...well...brilliant sketch comedy.

The OT thread officially hates you.

I hope it rains like hell.

(however, if you go ONG-mode and make it rain, all will be forgiven)

This was one of those weeks (and technically, it's not over yet), I feel I earned my pay.

(though I suppose I'd much rather be part of the 1%)

Recently read this article on that subject.

In the midst of my own unemployment struggles and seemingly unending dearth of opportunities, it was kind of refreshing to reflect on how lucky I am to be born in a wealthy North American/Western country.

My philosophical waxing for the day, anyway.

Oh, believe me, I'm extremely grateful, not *****ing, and I well-understand the statistical context. And best wishes to you, too, in your search.

I just booked a 7 night stay in Cacun. Exploring temples, unlimited booze, zip lining, unlimited booze, canoeing into exotic coves, booze, great food, booze, back rubs, booze, not Pittsburgh, booze, repelling, biking, the beach and there's even BOOOZE!

Mid Feb playas, don't hate me because I'm sunny.
