Good period by Weise.

Clemmensen looks really shaky. Just got to get more pucks on net.

Intermission suspension discussion should be interesting. Unless i missed it pre-game.

Clemmensen always looks kinda bad.

Yeah I saw him when he played on the Devils (at the Rog) and I thought he was shaky.

Don't like his technique at all.

It's coming up. Gonna go out on a limb here and predict that Doug MacLean says something dumb.

Not as exciting at the Bs game, but still great to see the guys are giving a good effort. Seems AV didn't like that Kings or Flames game.

A little flat at the start, but they seem to be waking up a bit.

Manny 0-4 on faceoffs and whiffed on that odd-man rush...ugh.

If the Canucks played like they did last game we'd be up 5-0 already and there'd be bodies everywhere.

Boy it'd be an awful shame if they somehow lost this one-- Florida isn't playing very well, IMO.

Random observation of the Panthers: They are not interested in anything after the whistle, even when there may be reason to respond (i.e. Henrik taking shots at their goalie after the whistle).

I don't mean anything bad by that; it's just refreshing to see a team not follow the "strategy" of beating the Canucks between the whistles (seemingly borne out of mindless group-think by most of the league).

The Panthers came out strong in the first shift getting 3 shots on goal, but then Weise scored and they lost momentum, and they haven't really had any sustained pressure or chances outside of their PP. I would be extremely disappointed in the Canucks can't win this, so please, no 2nd period meltdowns today.

I'm mixed if he's saying something dumb or not... He agrees with the suspension but says he likes the way Marchand plays while a highlight reel of dirty plays Marchand has done plays....

Their PK'ing isn't very good so no need to play with fire. The only guy mixing it up is Versteeg and that's understandable given his history vs Vancouver.

They just called Hartnell and Giroux the best duo in the league on the Florida feed...I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

I'm just going to say it:

I want Samuelsson back. They can have Alberts and Duco.

Yeah. I really don't want Jovo back, though. Someone suggested it earlier. He's making so many stupid plays. Trying to do it all himself.

Jovocop is obviously playing the SOB role in this game by helping us out.

Undercover Jovocop. I like.

The start was a bit shaky, but it was sure nice to see the 4th line step up in a game, especially two offensively challenged guys in Manny and Weise.

Clemmensen looks a bit shaky, so I think we'll eventually blow the game open if we stick to how we played in the first, minus the start.
