I say that because pyongyang is the only city I know with a massive (relative to the other buildings in the picture) pyramidal building.

If you enlarge the picture, you'll see the star on top. It's not really a huge pyramidal structure but the strings of light make it appear to be so. No, it's Göteborg - unsurprisingly.

Can anyone identify exactly where this is for me? I mean that as in the exact town name, so I can visit it when I roll through that region this fall.

That is Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) if I used Tineye correctly.
