Anyone got any before and after DH stats, I know the record is 9-6-1, but more of PP, PK,GF, and GA?

I think the last time we won in SJ Missing Link Gaetz was seen playing checkers by himself in the penalty box before going after a Cap after the final horn.

Good Work Romao. The stat that sticks out is cutting back the goals against a full goal. Special teams are improved. The big stat you don't see, is Ovi's stats. Is Ovi doing better because of the system, or is he carrying the team. Its maybe somewhere in between. Dale seems to have cut his TOI yet increased his productivity. I don't know if the stats bear that out but thats what I see.

Scoring is down but realistically, if it needed to happen to shave a full GA off the ledger, it had to be done. The G's have played better but aren't stealing games for us. The system have helped the Gs more than vice versa. If we can get secondary scoring going with our top lines producing, we should get back up over 3GF.

Goals against stats would look even more impressive if you put away that 7-games winning streak at the season's start.

In last 15 games under Boudreau (since Oct 27) Caps' has only 5 wins and 1 OTL, that's 36.7% of possible points.
Other basic stats during this period
GF: 2.64
GA: 3.83 (by far worst in the league)
SF: 30.7
SA: 28.1
PP%: 10.2
PK%: 79.3
Sv%: 86.4
EV Sv %: 87.6

Tomas Vokoun is 10-0-1 in his last 11 starts against San Jose. Hopefully he can end the Caps' despair in the Shark Tank.

Thanks for that info, didn't know he played so well in San Jose. Hopefully we have the full line up, something we haven't had in a long time.. Guess we will find out if 28, and 19 are good by game time decisions.

Dropped the GA a full goal but only gave up about 1/3 of a GF to do it. That can turn a lot of l's into W's.

As mentioned, DH has also gotten at least so far the Russians to play far better than they have in a while. Now if the rest of the team can add some scoring we could leave carnage in our wake.

going with Caps 4 - Sharks 2.

Ov with a PP goal. Was looking at some head to head stats, were pretty close in terms of production so far, heres the numbers.

GF Capitals - 113, Sharks - 102
Shots Capitals - 1,093, Sharks 1,266
PPG Capitals - 25, Sharks 23
Hits Capitals - 837, Sharks 643
Give aways Capitals - 311, Sharks 415
Take aways Capitals - 289, Sharks 301
Blocked Shots Capitals - 541, Sharks 541.

Random I know.

tonight's game will be

tough for DH, the only thing hopefully caps will do is stay away penalty box, because their power play is devastating for goaltender. sometimes we need some guys fight with guys like Dan boyle, clowe, Marleau, just like Bieksa of Canucks sparking Marleau last year playoff match to reduce their producing even though some cheap shots.

The Sharks get a lot of shots off. Our goalie needs to be on his game and our shot blockers need to be blockin' if we want to win.

kcarrera: Hunter said that Alexander Semin is healthy. Wouldn't say if Semin would be in the lineup tomorrow against the Sharks, though. #Caps
HMMM?

kcarrera: Hunter on Backstrom's status for Saturday: "It’s looking good but we’re still evaluating. He looks good." #Caps

Shopping list one is so unfunny it will probably cost them the game.

The tiger one is awesome though.

I wonder if they simply want to stick to 7D for now and Semin depends solely on whether Backstrom is cleared.
