It's been said a couple times now, but it has to be said once more: Whoever is playing the Bruins

Of course, ideally, we make make the playoffs and eliminate the Bruins... and I'll be the crazy person to declare that come April, this will be a reality

I'm not crazy, you are.

Philly. I'm a fan of Giroux since his days with the Olympique and I'd like to see him raise the cup with his viking beard.

I'm not sure I would "root" for any other team in the East. Maybe Florida if they're still in the mix.

In the West, Nashville or St Louis.

Edit: Those who will face Boston shall get my full support as well

I don't have a 2nd favorite team, I only cheer for the Habs. But I guess there are teams that I don't like less than others lol. If the Habs ain't in I'll still watch because it is exciting. I've always had a soft spot for the Hawks because they are my grandfathers fav team. I also really like Toews and Keith, couple of my fav players. Usually I'll cheer for a certain player to win, like Saku if the Ducks were good enough to make it. Or the underdog team like PHX or NSH.

I'll also agree with the others, whoever plays the Bruins

I love the way Detroit plays the game, I'm just bored of them winning cups.

They are my second favourite Original 6 team though.

West: Canucks/Wild
East: Leafs (if Leafs are in it)/Rangers or another team until that team eliminate the Bruins

This is how I felt during last years cup finals. I'll support Ottawa so long as Habs are completely out of contention as I live in Ottawa and the only time people really loosen up and have fun around here is Canada day and when the Sens are in the playoffs. Other then that I'll support teams with good story lines or the one with the most players I like. I won't support any other team from the NE and Vancouver.

I never thought there would be many people loving the Hawks here!

Because yeah, my plan B is the Hawks too.

Honestly? Nobody. I'll still watch the playoffs and "cheer" for anyone playing a team that I despise (e.g. Boston, etc).

My focus then shifts towards the Hamilton Bulldogs and any of our prospects in junior and/or NCAA. Playoffs is a good time to the judge character of these young men.

No one! We use the energy we would have exerted cheering for the Habs and use it to boo the Bruins even harder
