Only Pleks and Price had a decent period.

Desharnais line with a ****** period...well pretty much the whole team except Pleky and Price who looks sharp so far.

In other news... Sens are up 4-0
Backes is more of a game breaker than any Bruins forward, for instance. IMO a bigger issue is that their second line is mediocre.

that was desharnais worst period in a while
god i hate seeing campoli and gill on together what a bad pairing
anyway terrible period..but they got out of it tied...expect the habs to outplay them in the second...its rare a team dominates three periods. the habs are going to settle down and have a better second

looking out-muscled all over the ice. if they bring in this revised RC aggressive fore-check they are going to need bigger - or for those who get offended by size - 'grittier/stronger' forwards. a few more anyway.
i'd like to see campoli and Gill's minutes at zero this game and Diaz looks like a pinball out there...run over at every opportunity

I thought everyone on this forum wants to trade Pleks for a bag of pucks though, because he magically can't turn Cammalleri until a useful player.

They are missing Steen and McDonald, though.

Was it just me or was Oshie's hit on Diaz a bit of a blindside?

I love Cole but anyone else notice that for a big strong guy who is a very good skater he falls alot. Maybe he has an unusually high centre of gravity, but it's strange.

Crombeen-Nichol-Reaves is a hell of a fourth line that i would take any day of the week with our team.

Pretty much every match thread has at least one poster calling him a "little girl", and the Desharnais thread has a few people making comparisons to Gomez, and not because of his ability to carry the puck.

I think Plecky is our most valuable asset in the trade market, we gotta have a nice return for it though.
Plekanec and Cammalleri don't fit together...actually, Plekanec looks even better with Blunden and Darche cuz they play a more North-South game than Cammy.

The Blues are faster and better positioned than us. If they keep up that pace, we're dead. Momentum better shift soon.
