Steve Ott's still in, really expected a suspension there after the Jacques suspension.

That hit definitely wasn't deserving of a suspension.

If Lander would have gotten a concussion Ott would have been out 3-5 games.

It seemed to me that Ott hit him in the upper chest and then their helmets clacked together afterwards which is what sent Lander's head backwards. Far be it for me to defend Ott, but I wasn't expecting a suspension from that.

Heika says Souray in and probably dressing 7 D. Excited for Eriksson and Benn double shifting, a little less excited that Ribeiro is out.

Yeah... I know Anaheim is bad, but I'm really not expecting a win with Ribs out. All the checking is going to focus on Benn. I'm not expecting his 4th line double-shifts to be as effective either since he won't be with Wandell.

Now Heika says Ribeiro has a slight tear in his MCL. I dunno anything about knee injuries except MCL is better news than ACL right?

Well ribs apparently wanted to put a brace on it and play Thursday so it can't be that bad

This is Mike Ribeiro we're talking about

Yeah a quick google search showed me that slight MCL tear is about a 1-2 week injury.

Ya they better not look past this one. I sure hope they plan to just shoot from every angle on Deslauriers and don't let him get settled in. Ducks are on a roll at home and might be getting their mojo back. Hopefully they come in complacent, but I doubt it.

BIG divisional game tonight, we really need to keep this win streak going to keep pace with the rest of the division and conference. I have feeling Anaheim is going to come out strong tonight...the Stars better be ready to play!

Ah it was speculated that Deslauriers would start due to having a bit more NHL experience. Either way point stands, SHOOT.
