Not bad at all, better than 3 million for Ovechkin, although if i were an nhl organization who had drafted him, id gladly pay that 3 mill for a player of that calibre....

It's not easy for Washington to do that...Since a couple of years, they have money problem so...We could afford it but some team can't.

I don't think they actually have money problems any more than most teams, they just chose to stop wasting it. Their owner can out spend 3 George Gillet's I fear.

I thought it was 2M they wanted, and they could end up screwing themselves since he'll be free to sign anywhere in a year or two whenever his contract ends. As for Kostitsyn, CHL teams get 200K for 1st rounders, as I just read that the CHL is looking to lose 6M from fees they get from the NHL. Ouch for them.

I heard about Kostitsyn that he has a light form of epilepsy. Is it true?

Yes, but just recently the Montreal doctors have found a way to fully treat it, and they say it wont effect his career.

I know, but hes still relatively young so i figured the damage may have been of so little, that it probably wont make much difference....

They sure aren't good for your brain, but they're not THAT damageable, USUALLY...

they're more caused by a part of your brain that's a little damaged, than causing damage to that part of your brain.. but of course there could be complications if the seizure is very intense
