Hodgson has, to this point, not been nearly as effective on the wing. Makes sense though I guess considering he's consistently been our best offensive weapon after Sedins/Burrows/Kesler. Can't wait to watch Raymond and Kesler play 'keep away' from each other.

Promoting Hogdson also makes Laperrie center again, where i think he is more useful. God move by AV

I agree, but it's been a steep learning curve all season and he's steadily improved. Might be worth another shot. As I said, they looked decent in the 3rd last night.

The 'new' 3rd line also looked good in the 3rd last night. It's also almost the same as our 3rd line from the playoffs with Higgins swapped in for Torres. But I think this might be a move to give Hodgson some better linemates than Hansen and Weise/Lappiere. I think he'll swap back into the 3rd line center role when Booth returns though, and he can play with Hansen and Raymond/Booth/Higgins.

Wingers don't have near the responsibilities as centers, there shouldn't ever be a problem for a center to transition to wing.

I think Higgins-Hodgson-Hansen should be held together as a line moving forward. Then, just let Kesler and Raymond figure out how to play together. At some point, you have to believe Raymond and Kesler are going to have a frank discussion regarding what each other should be doing out on the ice.

Right or wrong I'm pretty sure she is.

Also Schneids is auditioning for a full time starters role so thats a good prediction
On one hand if she's wrong I get to hold it over here as long as I possibly can, but if she's right she'll never let me forget it. Though it helps my fantasy pool as I have Schneider starting tonight and we'll obviously start betting on hockey

I like the lines for this game today. Those were exactly the lines I wanted to see halfway through the game yesterday and AV ended up doing just that. I like that he kept them the same way for today.

I think the Sedins are due for a big game. Hoping to see 3+ point efforts out of both of them.

Ah still no Booth. Hopefully we will see him in St. Lou? Or does he wait until we are back home..? I guess only time will tell.. This should be a good bounce back game. Lets chase 'em early boys!

He might have been there to watch Schneider, though. I really doubt GMs fax each other who's going to be starting a few days in advance of games to give each other time to get a flight. Especially since the players themselves don't know a few days in advance. The Wild are one of our bogey teams, and the backup usually starts so it would have been a good guess.

My prediction is that Canucks' slump won't end until after they lose to St. Louis.

They won't win this one, it will be close though.
