Was just wondering where you guys rank the Flyers logo amongst the rest of the league?
I was having a conversation with a buddy of mine who's a Devils fan (lame I know) and we weren't sold that the Blackhawks logo was the best in the league, and I thought where do fellow Flyers fans rank our logo soooooo rank away
Obviously we are biased because we love the team but I have to say that the Blackhawks logo is pretty awesome. I better like the Flyers logo since it's on my arm

i dont know about overall design, but what i love most about the flyers logo is the fact it has remained constant over the eyars..
i truely hope they NEVER change the logo..
As long as Snider is in control it won't be. They asked him about different variations to the logo for the Winter Classic and he immediately said no. I forget who wrote the article about it though. I think it was Sam Carchidi who wrote it

I love that about Snider, I hope they never change the logo it's iconic
I think the Minnesota Wild logo is tops, it combines elements of Minnesota's natural landmarks and landscape along with the North Star as the logo's eye. It blew my mind when someone pointed all this out to me, take a second look if you don't know what I am talking about.
Of the Secondary Six teams (just made that up - kinda like it) I've always liked the Flyers and Blues best. Both are designed along similar graphic lines, with a sweeping element flying off from the main theme (a "P" for the Flyers, a musical note for the Blues). Both hold up very well, and I love that their logos have remained the same throughout their history. Flyers also get bonus points for introducing orange into the NHL colour palette.
The only logos that are more iconic are Detroit, Montreal and Chicago.
Worst? Anaheim's stylized chicken wing and Carolina's Picasso eyes.
I love our logo along with most others that are simple i.e. New Jersey, St. Louis, Toronto.
I agree - it is the simplicity that makesit a good logo, and the fact that it hasn't changed for so long. For the record, I think the Kings and Preds have the worst logos. The Kings had a cool one back in the 70s, along with their purple and gold uniforms. The Preds logo is too cartoony.
I'd probably rank the Canadiens logo as #1, followed by the Blackhawks and surprisingly the Devils. I probably put the Flyers around #5.
