The Big East continues their football stockpiling, and this time, with logical geographical sense:

Kyle Prater ends up at Northwestern.

2010 has had some huge five star flops.

Sounds like Mario Cristobal from FIU is going to be the head coach at Rutgers. Obviously being at FIU not many people have heard of him but he's done a pretty good job there and is a good hire for Rutgers.

Good. People in Philly were scared they were going to go after Steve Addazio.

It's prettymuch official now, all that's missing is the presser. WVU will pay the Big East 11 million to get out

http://dailymail.com/News/breakingnews/201202090205

Grand total for the settlement is 20 million, but 9 million of that has either already been paid by WVU to the conference (2.5 million) or was still owed to WVU by the conference for their Orange Bowl bid this year and Final Four run from 2010.

The Big XII will likely pay a part of WVU's buyout from the Big East.

Stefon Diggs says "I want to win championships. I want to win ball games." then commits to Maryland. Oxymoron?

Don't let last year fool you. They just had a hell of a recruiting class for a 2 win team. They picked up a handful of stud local recruits recently including Diggs who might be their biggest recruit ever. Also replaced both coordinators that were picked up late in the game last year and made major upgrades on both.

Program has been picking up some momentum as of late. They are only 1 year removed from a 9 win team.

Winning titles is better than the explanation his HS teammate gave for going to Maryland(around :20 in the vid).

Keep blaming Edsall if you like, but this recruiting class is pretty fn solid for a 2 win team. Some recruits cite Edsall as the reason they picked MD.

Fridge on the other hand was lazy as crap on the recruiting trail and the team lacked depth at all levels. Glad he's gone... he said he burned his diploma from Maryland- piss off

So Edsall's now a great coach? He gets no blame for the abysmal abomination of last year?

Let's see how next season plays out, he's so great that Danny O'Brien is thinking of transferring. Massive defections and turnover, now Edsall gets his people in, and let's see how they do. I'm not too optimistic though.

Never said he was great, just not worthy of all the bashing he's been getting. I'm taking a wait and see approach but the signs recently have been more on the positive side.

And if DOB leaves he's an idiot. Yes he struggled in the spread last year but Locksley runs a pro offense and he would be the starter hands down. Also he was the host for the official visit from Diggs last week. Doubt he goes anywhere.

oh and this was sounding off last night. Classic

Smooth Edsall transition continues. RT @Mengus22 Man. RT @D1scourse: Maryland says Danny O'Brien, Max Garcia and Mario Rowson will transfer
Edsall can chase away all the players he wants

There's been a ton of turnover

Just make sure the players you replace them with are good or you'll be out fast.
