SWEEEEEET CAROLINEEEEEEEE
Why does Jagr keep refusing to shoot? Doesn't matter to me as long as Nylander keeps finding the back of the net!

Smith was the best player on the ice. But for the Rangers:
1. Henrik
2. Gabby
3. Step
The Redden of this game had to be that PP.
Am I the only one whose first thought after Smith's save on Gabby was the old Dominic Hasek Mastercard commercial?

Stepan, Feds, Hank. Dunno if Hank deserves it really, with so few shots but the SO made him deserve it.
Rangers are on pace for 119 points

Man I'm pissed off. No more enemy feds for me. Oh well, made winning that much better.
1)Sam and Joe
2)Hank
3)Mike Smith (I rarely go non-Ranger, but I gotta give it up)
**** Shane Doan, he's an overrated loser. Get him off my ice
Do I hear 5?

Stepan
Gaborik
Hank
Hank played well, but the team defense was solid, with so few shots allowed.

Gave my 3 stars to the whole 3rd line. Hags, Boyle, and Feds worked their ***** off tonight.

The Good: Henry did what we needed him to do. Feds. Gaborik going Marshawn Lynch in the shootout.
The Bad: Boyle was terrible. Mitchell in the SO??? Mike Smith= Hasek
The Redden: "Mike Smith Mike Smith Mike Smith stick handle stick handle puck control Mike Smith Stick Handle" -Joe micheletti.

Hagelin gets a star from me. The kid was EVERYWHERE tonight. Dominant on the puck, got to every loose puck and created a bunch of turnovers. The whole line was awesome.

Gave it to Hags, Feds, and Boyle. IMO best line tonight, created chances pretty much every time they were on the ice.

1. Stepan
2. Hagelin
3. Fedotenko
HM: Gaborik, the Richards line.
Defense was pretty good all night, except for leaving Vrbata wide open for the goal.
Mike Smith was out of his mind tonight, otherwise this would have been a much more telling score.
Also glad that Henrik could win this one in the shoot-out when he'd faced so few shots, and the team had played so well in front of him all night.

I know Joe has his quirks, but listening to some enemy feeds with TWC out has made Joe look like the messiah.

The Rangers always seemed to lose these games in the past.
They played a full 65-min game. In all three zones. In reality they should have won this game midway through the 2nd period but Smith bailed his scrub team out.
Big stretch coming up -- 6 games in 10 nights and 7 in 12, but the 7th is a 1pm game at Boston.
Boston is going into that 1pm game exhausted -- 4 road games in 6 nights, then day game on the 21st.
Something has to give.

He fumbled what seemed like way too many chances. I'm not expecting him to be Lemieux here, but I thought he could have played better.

Yes! Love coming home to a W. The shootout looked pretty intense after 2-0 vs 2-1!

1) PHX had no buisness getting a point in this game.
2) Why are people saying mitchell in the SO was a stupid move? Do your homework before judging the guy. He's good.
3) Gabby deserved that PS OT Goal.

Hagelin, Boyle, and Feds.
That line dominated the game. Pressure every shift and they might not have gotten scoring chances or even a shot on some shifts but the grind and boardwork wore down the Yotes D.
Staal had his BEST game of his young season, played 18 minutes and was involved in all three zones.
Dubi needs to shoot the puck more often, but he was very strong tonight.
Overall great game and a dominant performance even though they won in the shootout. Mike Smith got Phoenix a point tonight and almost got them 2.
