i'll take the guy who played in game seven with a broken hand and was crying after the loss because he couldn't lift the puck over richter. one of my favourite canucks ever, and a guy who knew what it meant to wear the jersey through and through.

I could vote for almost everyone of the remaining listed players at this point.

Bubla and Hlinka should be on the list ...

Voted Ronning

add Odjick, Reinhart, Oddlieifson or G. Smith (in that order)

Can't believe Kearns made the list. There would be about 3 "dump Kearns" threads on this site if this were the '70's...and we had the internet back then.

Jeff Brown was a better Canuck d-man than Kearns... Paul Reinhart was a way better Canuck d-man than Kearns... Lanz, McCarthy, Babych, Bubla, Edler... all better. Being the highest scoring career Canuck defenseman from '71 to '81 was just about being the tallest midget for a long time.

Jeff Brown had certain "off ice issues" that have me downgrade him alot of spots. That and he didn't even play 80 games for us (even a short-timer like Reinhart had more than twice as many games as a Canuck).

My vote for Lever and those that voted for Kearns is more based on the their total body of work with the Canucks, rather than any particular "great season". Not good enough to rank in the top twenty; but IMHO at least worth a mention after the top twenty.
